[redacted]'s vehicle was towed to our dealership on 05/13/2014 with a severely overheated engine. The vehicle is still covered by Chrysler's powertrain warranty and therefore required that only one of our technicians that is trained by Chrysler to Level 3 in engines may perform the repairs....
Diagnosis was completed, repairs authorized by Chrysler, and a replacement engine ordered on 06/05/2014. The engine was on backorder from Chrysler and did not arrive here until 06/23/2014. AllData labor time guide shows the repairs we performed to [redacted]'s vehicle require 32.1 hours of actual time (not the time reflected by his relatives). We finished the repairs to [redacted]'s vehicle on 06/30/2014. We performed a lenghty road test and verified repairs on 07/01/2014. [redacted] picked up his vehicle on 07/01/2014.
Also, on 06/26/2014 [redacted] was offered a [redacted] rental vehicle that our dealership would pay for until repairs were completed when he informed me of the hardship his vehicle repair was causing him, but he declined the offer.
