Paid off my bill so I didn’t have to call and fight for them to take a late payment off! I will never finance through them again! If you want a bike go through a bank or a different finance company.

January 26, 2018[redacted]RE: YMFUS account #[redacted]According to our records, Mr. [redacted] purchased two Waverunners (HIN# [redacted] & HIN# [redacted]) and a trailer (VIN # [redacted]) on or about February 28, 2017. The total amount...
on the executed bill of sale for all three units was $17,797.38. Mr. [redacted] provided $8,000 for the down payment and financed the remaining balance of $9,797.36. The bill of sale did not specify that one of the three units was paid in full nor that the amount financed was for the second Waverunner. On or about June 14, 2017, Mr. [redacted] notified Yamaha Motor Finance of the referenced theft. Shortly after the reported incident, on or about July 14, 2017, Yamaha Motor Finance received a check in the amount of $6,099 from Mr. [redacted], which he claimed was the full amount that he had received from the insurance company. After Yamaha Motor Finance applied the $6,099 check to Mr. [redacted]'s account, there was still a remaining balance of $3,087.78 as of 1/7/18. Although the account was technically delinquent for the August 1, 2017 payment (since no further payments were received), Yamaha Motor Finance re-aged this account for delinquency and postponed required payments as part of its short-term, large-scale effort to provide some relief to customers who were affected by the severe weather conditions in Texas and Florida around this time.On or about September 13, 2017, Yamaha Motor Finance sent an “Insurance Deficiency Letter" to Mr. [redacted], to which Mr. [redacted] responded stating that he had filed a GAP claim and was waiting for GAP to cure the remaining balance on the account. Following our inquiry, Mr. [redacted]'s insurance company, Progressive Group Of Insurance, sent Yamaha a settlement summary which stated that $7,874 was paid to Mr. [redacted] for the loss of HIN# us-[redacted] and $7,099.00 was paid for the loss of us[redacted], totaling $14,973. Since the total amount paid by the insurance company to Mr. [redacted] for his loss ($14,973) is greater than the amount he had financed ($9,797.39), there is no deficiency—or gap–for a GAP claim to be in effect. In November of 2017, Yamaha Motor Finance sent Mr. [redacted] a letter communicating that we were sorry for the loss of his units and informed him that since there was no gap between what the units were worth and what the insurance had paid, there was no GAP payment; as a gesture of good will, we Yamaha Motor Finance gave Mr. [redacted] a full refund of his GAP contract, which was credited to his account. We hope that our response was sufficient in clarifying any misunderstanding Mr. [redacted] may have had regarding his account and that this information will enable him to pay off the remaining balance on his account. If there are any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to Yamaha Motor Finance using the following contact address:Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation, [redacted]Sincerely,Yamaha Motor Finance Corp. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Lets Make something clear.1. Attached is the "Bill of sale" Total base price $14,063 Total purchase price $17,797.38.Please note: Base price for Trailer (Vin [redacted]) is 0$.I also attached the title that was giving to me by [redacted] Motorosports.Seems pretty clear the Trailer is Mine and not financed by yamaha Motor.2.I [redacted] never made a check out to Yamaha as you say o. Progressive ( My jetski insurer) Explained they will investigate and cannot release any funds to me without paying the finance company first . By law. All negotiation and pay outs were determined between Yamaha and progressive. Progressive determined trailer was not financed and paid it out to me.A: The yamaha underwritter [redacted] was requesting the payment Progressive made for The trailer. Remind you never financed.I numerous time explained it was free with the promotion during the time of purchase. Explain on BB: The $7084 paid to us $6099 was the Jetski and the difference $1775 was for my trailer. Again never financed.C: Progressive paid out $6099 and $7099 Almost full price accept a deductible my plan required. 3. No payment was made from me because the first person ever speaking to from Yamaha GAP [redacted]rd [redacted] Explained to me all was written up incorrect and I should be in this position. I also went back to [redacted] motorsport to clarify and [redacted]ard was on the Phone With the Finance Associate explain all that was a mistake and explained to him how it should be completed for future. [redacted]ard promise to help me the way possible. Fast forward in front of Underwritter [redacted] did not take any of the information to consideration. [redacted]ard [redacted] Flipped hes script and now only asking for remaining balance. Last I spoke to [redacted]ard he said the best I can do is return the Cost of the GAP I paid for. I said no I don't want the money, so you can clean your hands with any wrong doing. Recieve the next statement with a credit of the Gap cost, I immediately call yamaha finace questioning the credit. I explains to Ettia Gonzales the situation and I never agreed to the refund and made it very clear to [redacted]. a. I have been explaining to yamaha finace recovery department, all have been very kind and noting the information on my file I guess. Never did they say it has been in delinquency. 4. Back to the bill of sale . The GAP was purchased with the total price of $17,797.38 The $9797.38 is the only amount financed by Yamaha motorsport. Total Base Price $14,063 Thats a loss of $3734.38, Which are all additional finance charges and dealer fees and GAP.How do you excuse your self from the contract I had paid for GAP. Please this is the time you pull up any record lines with communication between [redacted]ard [redacted] and [redacted]. I cleary told him not to credit me for the GAP. Not sure who is responding to my complaint but if you can address your position with yamaha motor Finance. -[redacted]
