Review: We inadvertently signed up for a paid listing in December 2013 to be placed in the Japanese Travel Agents Directory believing it was free of cost. We were oblivious to the $50 per month fee this until we received an invoice from the Japanese Travel Agents Directory dated March 2013 stating that we owed them $300 past due from December 2013 and March- May 2014. We tried contacting them by phone and left two voice mails. Fred [redacted] called me back saying that I signed a contract saying will be charged for $50 per month at one year contract. I read the fax and there is no indications that will be a charge nor one year contract. I respond to this particular fax in good faith since I adore the Japanese culture and their integrity on doing business. I never expected this would be a scam to collect money from innocent and hard working people. I asked [redacted] to take my name out of his listing and he refused saying it is one year contact. I told him I will call the Revdex.com and he said that he can careless about it, kept saying I signed a contract for one year and I need to pay for it.Desired Settlement: I want to have my name removed from their listing and adjusted the invoice billing. Thank you.

Review: Service was offered free of charge. We later received a bill for $1,320.00. I attempted to contact the company and left messages at the provided telephone number. My calls were not returned. We then received certified mail from [redacted]. The letter is for collections of the above amount, requests check for payment and threatens legal action. Multiple calls have been made to the office of [redacted] ###-###-#### and messages left. My calls have not been returned.

I see that there was another complaint that expired because the business could not be located.Desired Settlement: The originator of scam and law office of [redacted]need to cease contacting us. We were not advised there would be a fee when we enrolled. The website where our listing was promised to appear, was not produced and (after requests for such by voice message left on above telephone) the printed directory was never produced.

Review: We inadvertently signed up for a paid listing in Sept 2011 to be placed in the Japanese Travel Agents Directory believing it was free of cost. We were oblivious to the $50 per month fee this until we received an invoice from the Japanese Travel Agents Directory dated April **, 2012 stating that we owed them $300 past due from December 2011 and March- May 2012. We tried contacting them by phone and also faxed a letter stating that we wanted to be removed immediately from the erroneous charges and that it be credited back to us. No response until we again received an invoice dated * June 2012 this time with an outstanding balance of $450. We protested and sent a fax and certified letter on * June 2012 stating that we had no intention of signing-up for a paid listing and wanted them to credit back the charges. No response until we received an invoice notice dated July **, 2012. Again we sent a certified letter and fax on ** August 2012. No response. Subsequently another invoice arrived on September **, 2012 with a total invoice amount of $645.00 past due. We were contacted by them on phone the last week in October. They suggested we resolve the matter by us paying the entire amount. We refused and they suggested they would reduce it by 1/2 the amount. We also refused that offer as we did not have any intention in the first place of signing up for a paid listing. They explained they would have to talk to a senior manager. We did not hear from them again until we received an invoice dated October **, 2012. Again we sent a certified letter and fax to be removed. No response until we received an invoice dated April **, 2013 with a past due amount of $660. A certified letter was sent but again no response from the Japanese Travel Agents Directory. Finally on we received a letter from the Law Office of Betty Llantin advising us that we were in arrears on its obligation to pay for a listing which was ($50.00) per month and which we owed in past due payments. We then followed up with a certified letter to the Law Office of Betty A. Llantin dated and sent ** June 2013. In conclusion we have been unduly harassed by this company with their unscrupulous, unreasonable, and fraudulent business practices. We wanted to be removed from their listing immediately once we discovered it was for a paid listing. They ignored our requests willingly and are now threatening legal action. Our final step is to report them to the Revdex.com of New York.Desired Settlement: To stop and desist with invoices and warn other susceptible hospitality customers of the requirement for an unreasonable monthly fee which is hidden in the contract.

Review: Invoice [redacted]for ; Listing in Japanese Hotel Directory March **amount of 300.00$ never ask to be on this directoryDesired Settlement: Stop To Bill us we don't want to be in this directory

Review: Company claims that we signed a contract for a listing for 2012-2013 and have since contacted us via mail on several occasions claiming that we owe $660.00 ($50.00 per month) for said listing. I have attempted to contact the company via phone number provided but am unable to reach a live operator or leave a voicemail (mailbox is full).

We have sent several faxes to the company requesting that we be removed from any listings and that our account be closed but have not received a response.

As of June [redacted], 2014 we have received a letter from the Law Office of [redacted] via certified mail threatening legal action if this outstanding balance is not paid.

This is fraud as we did not have any contract with this company and nobody can produce a copy of a signed contract outlining the terms and conditions which they claim we agreed to.Desired Settlement: I want to have my name removed from their listing and adjusted the invoice billing. Thank you.

Review: Scam Artists, they call and will talk to anyone and offer a free listing on their website.

They then send an invoice for $660 claiming that they have a contract to post our business name on

their website. After repeated warnings not to contact our company, they continue to send fictitious

invoices.Desired Settlement: Stop sending the fictitious invoices.

Review: This company has every problem listed here, it was hard to choose a category! Firstly, the "contract" looks like a simple advertisement requesting hotel information. Hidden in the extensive wall of text is one sentence that says we can be included in their next annual edition for $50 monthly. You would think that they would be a little more thorough with the price right? Of course not! That's not how a scam works.

Secondly, no proof of purchase ever came! We never got a receipt or confirmation, or monthly statement, or even a copy of the directory we were supposedly featured in. They also claim that we will see a 30% boost in Japanese tourists, yet we have seen no Japanese tourists AT ALL! How do we know we have been featured in their directory when they haven't given us any proof? Sounds like a scam to us!

Lastly, they've been very rude during communication, claiming they don't need to provide us with proof. We're not paying for something we didn't get! Or h[redacted], something we were tricked into either!Desired Settlement: We wish to no longer be contacted by this company. We feel they did not uphold their "terms" of the "contract" advertisement, and we wish to owe them nothing for this scam! We will pay them nothing, and no longer wish to be "featured" in their "directory" which "is received by more than 7000 travel agents in Japan"
