Review: I purchased a $500 KitchenAid mixer from Yame's online Square online store on December **, 2013 as a Christmas gift for my wife. I never received a email receipt or confirmation, so I emailed them asking for the receipt. They responded promptly and said I had entered my email incorrectly but would send it immediately. I never received either. When the box came in, the factory packaging box was inside of a shipping box. Although the outside shipping box was in perfect condition, the factory packaging looked pretty scuffed up and was taped closed with packaging tape. when we opened it all of the contents were there including a bent manual and a factory rebate slip valid from Dec 2013 - Jan 2014. When we plugged in the mixer it made a grinding noise and then didn't work. I opened and closed it and it would work occasionally but would continue to grind. I decided to use the manufacturers 1-year warranty but had never received a receipt from Yame. I sent 6 emails rrom the of December **until January **requesting the receipt which were either ignored or promised to send the receipt shortly. When I threatened to report to the, they sent the receipt the next day. When I contacted KitchenAid about the faulty mixer, they asked for the serial number. It was then that I realized the serial number on the box and on the mixer were different. KitchenAid refused to honor the warranty stating that the serial number was registered in 2011. When I contacted Yame, they claimed the product was new and that they would send me another after I returned it. I responded that I had no trust in their company and would not be interested in receiving another used product, but would prefer a refund. They offered to refund me after I shipped back the product in the original packaging, but I have no reason to trust that they will refund my purchase upon delivery of the product. They have not offered to pay return shipping, and have said they will not refund purchase without the product. I want a guarantee of refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my purchase as well as my expense of my return shipping expenses. I will gladly return the faulty product, but I need some third-party guarantee that I will receive my refund so I am left without a mixer and without my $510 plus shipping.
