On May 6, 2017, we got a call from Cape Girardeau County Sheriff Department around am Our wrecker went out and picked up an abandoned trailer on someone's property The police report that was given to us had unknown owner name and unknown registered owner We had no idea who the trailer belonged to On May 16, 2017, Mr [redacted] came into my office stating that he owned the trailer He showed me the title with the VIN and I verified the Trailer Vin They matched so I let the customer know that we did have his trailer Mr [redacted] did tell us that the cops did have a hard time finding out who owned the trailer due to the license plates were in someone else's name and that the trailer was a gift We had the trailer for days but I only charged him days at $a day We were trying to help Mr [redacted] out due to the fact that someone had stolen his trailer.If you have any questions, please give me a call at [redacted] Thank you for your time in this matter
