Yanda's Kirby Sales & Service of Green Bay Reviews (4)

Review: I perchance for a Kirby vacuum in 04/07/2006. I made the payment to Preferred Credit. I took the money out of my 401k. To pay it off. I say around $1300.00 Or just a little more. I have the copy of the money order. I have to look for it. Now I get a letter from Yanda's Distributing, LLC from Green Bay Wis. Saying I own Kirby the sum of $388.39 . I get this letter on Oct-1-2015. No word in about 8 years on this money I was to own them. When it was pay off. What can I do. I just got back to a full time job. I do not want to lose this job It was had to find I about 9 years. And Yanda's only give me 16 day to pay up.Desired Settlement: I just want to know if I have to pay again. When the vacuum was all payoff. And when did they wait so long to bring this up. For 9 year?

Sorry for any confusion on your account or with the payoff amount, however, the $1300 payment you made still left a balance of $388.39 per the original agreement you entered. We have been attempting to contact you regarding this account for a long time, and finally found a current address to reach you. We are willing to make an agreeable payment plan for monthly payments to pay off the $388.39. Also, if you wish to review the account with us in person at our office we are available to show this to you. Please contact us at ###-###-####[redacted]Sincerely, [redacted]

Response:

If I pay $388.39 more to Kirby vacuum cleaner. I would have paying about $1688.39. For a vacuum cleaner, that was only to be $1.000.00. So I guest I will have to pay another $1.000.00 . Because this will not stop. They have more power, and have the money for a lawyer. I am just a little person, that just trying to get by. Thank you for your time. I see I am losing this case. I see this will not stop.

Review: I contacted the company and told them that we needed to return the product do to an unfroseen loss in income, and we would not be able to afford the payments. I was trying to be pro active and save the hasel for both of us, when we are unable to make the payments. I was told there was nothing that could be done, that we only had 3 days to return the product. First the only why I heard about the 3 days to return was when I contacted Kirby themselves. I am just trying to return this so that my credit is not affected because I can not afford it, and that I dont end up with garnished wages or anythign else. I need to be able to provide food and a home for my children before paying for this product. They did offer to delay payments, but I have no way of knowing how long our income will be reduced. I just want to return this item. I have notifed my credit union to not let the payments be pulled so I am trying to give them the chance to stop this before it turns to a bigger mess.Desired Settlement: To come pick up the product and let us return it.

Response:

I've been trying to contact Mrs. [redacted] regarding the Kirby and have not been able to reach her via phone, so she said to email her instead. I sent an email stating that yes she is past the return date and her return option with the contract has expired. I still would like to talk to Mr. or Mrs. [redacted] to discuss payment options as I have offered a few new options of reduced payments and even delaying payments, but as of 11/21/13 have not heard anything back. Returning the Kirby and getting out of the contract is not an option. Please have her call me directly at ###-###-####. If she doesn't make the payments with [redacted] then yes the finance company will pursue collections, legal action or even judgment. However, I'm sure we can work something out and avoid that if we can talk. Thank you for your time.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have told them that they need to contact me by email, as my phone is not working correctly. So it does no good to call if I cant get the calls. Unless they are willing to post pone these payments for at least a year. I dont think there is much that can be done. I dont want legal action that is why I have been trying to take care of this but this damn $1700 vacuume that I can not afford due to loss of income is being shoved at me and I am being forced to take it. If I could have seen into the future to know that we would be lossing income we would have never taken it.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

Response:

It is possible that I can get pci to delay the payments for up to 1 year. I will need to talk in person or on a phone to one of the sheldons to set it up. Please call when you get a chance. [redacted] is my direct cell. If you get my voice mail please let me know a good # & time to call back. Again sorry for what your going thru and this inconvenience, I hope I can be of some assistance.

Review: The sales associate back dated the sales invoice for the kirby vacuum my wife purchased on 7-9-15, to say 7-6-15, so that way we couldn't cancel the sale. He said it was ok. His name was Kenny. I am unaware of his last name. I did try to call their establishment and the phone just kept ringing. Im guessing they don't have a answering machine for this purpose. I already emailed the kirby company and am awaiting a response. My wife had to pay a deposit of 100.00, that has the check date of 7-9-15 on it.Desired Settlement: the sales associate back dated an invoice to prevent us from returning the vacuum. I would just like to return the product for a complete refund.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Today a man named [redacted] came to my sister's house to talk about the Kirby vacuum she was unhappy about. He trying to bully both of us and made us feel very uncomfortable in our own home. He yelled at me several times saying he needed to defend his product. I asked him to leave he said, "no this isn't your house. " then my sister also asked him to leave after five times he finally left but not without first sitting in the doorway yelling at me some more. He was very creepy. He was very rude. He seemed to be very hyper and had a chip on his shoulder even before we started talking. I told him that I don't tolerate men talking to me with such disrespect and that seemed to make him more angry. Both my sister and I were ready to call the police. This was by far the most uncomfortable situation I've had to go through in my own home. He seems to think that by intimation he can sell his product. He seemed to have no regard for his actions.
