I saw his posterboard at the Markets of Marion and was very impressed with the pictures and foolishly believed it was his work without checking with references. Bad Mistake. Everything they did at my house was screwed up and I had to hire: 1) another company to come and remove the stone planter walls he messed up and re-do the job entirely (cost me $1200 for that); 2) I had to hire another company to come and fix the sprinker pipes Josh's guys broke while pouring a wider driveway-2 of those breaks were UNDERNEATH the new concrete so I am still getting estimates on having core holes drilled so we can pump concrete into however big the water has made holes under the driveway. and 3) the concrete he poured is the worst job you can imagine-no expansion joints, not smoothed out before it cured, looks like crap. I am having another company come and resurface the entire driveway ($4000). We had planned to do that part anyway so I am not as upset as I could be about that. He left a mess in the yard and took my money and ran. Never came back to clean up or to plant 2 shrubs that were supposed to be included . The only reason I paid him (and I should not have) is that I am on high blood pressure meds and this horrible confrontation was causing me to fear a stroke.
Don't hire this guy to do anything.

His invoice states we have a one year warranty on these plants, however he will no longer return my calls or text messages. Similarly, my irrigation heads are no longer adequate to water the landscape beds; popups are too short. I also had to cut the weed guard blanket to expose one of the heads the covered over.

We left our contact information for Josh N, owner of Yard Boyzs Landscaping and Pavers LLC, at the Markets of Marion. He contacted us right away and we agreed for him to do some work for us. He showed us pictures of his work. We are assuming it is his work, have no way to know for sure. We told him what we wanted done. He said he was qualified to do cement work.
His cement work is not up to standards as far as we are concerned. He never came back to finish the work on our patio. The patio cement has small dips in it, not very nice to look at. There was to be a crack stress line cut into the cement and he never came back to do that either. They also pulled out two small Holy Berry trees that was not to be done. They replanted them but one of them has died and we told him. He said he would take of care it. Still has not done this.
The only thing that was done great was the company he contracted with to pour curbing around our landscaping area. The only good thing Josh got right was placement of landscaping stone, I
don't think you can mess that up.
Please be aware if you decide to do business with Josh N. It's no wonder his price was cheap, you get what you pay for.
