The of complaint by Mr [redacted] is misleading and incorrectHe did purchase and use our carwash as statedHe presented us with a broken wiper at the time and asked us what we could doabout itI did give him the number of the business and explained that I would report the incidentto the owner, and that he should discuss the situation further with the owner My position is to ensure the operation of the equipment and not to determine liability regarding situations thatencompass damages or accidentsThe car wash was inspected in a timely manner and is notmalfunctioning or brokenI heard nothing else about this incident again until April I have noknowledge of further attempts to contact the owner or myself so I considered the issue had beenresolved and closedOn April 4, Mr [redacted] called me directly and said he had the wiper repairedand the cost was $and that he expected to be reimbursed in cashI told him, again, that Iwas not authorized to make that determination, and that I had reported it to our insurancecompany, ending my involvementI suggested he talk to his insurance and that they wouldcontact our insurance to resolve the matterHe refused and stated that we need to pay him cashinstead of "making him go through all that work" to call his insurance company, since it"probably didn't even amount to our deductible anyway." Again, I told him that I'm not able tomake that decisionHe told me he expected payment or he would "make sure everyone knowsthat he wasn't happy with our handling of the situation", hence, this complaint Our car wash is a self-serve automated car washWe have posted signage at the entrance statingthat "due to the variety of vehicles, we are not responsible for damage" as well as stating that theowner and business are not responsible for damage to vehiclesMr [redacted] chose to use the carwash anyway and, while unfortunately this incident occurred, Mr [redacted] was not willing to gothrough the necessary channels to resolve this and instead felt the need to demand cashimmediately or he would file a complaintI regret this incident resulted in this way and hopeMr [redacted] can find his way through this Thanks you for your help!Chris M [redacted] , Manager

On March 6th, I used the car wash of the gas station on lake Washington bldUnfortunately, the car wash broke the back car wiper of my new Volvo XCI went into the store and showed the employee and he told me to call the next day when the owner was in; I also left my name and phone numberOver the last few weeks, I've been trying to engage the owner without any success and left multiple ways for him/her to contact me (phone and email)I ultimately just got it fixed by Volvo for a total labor + part cost of around $Today, I was finally able to talk with him -- the purpose was to share my experience (so others don't have this same issue) and to get reimbursedUnfortunately, his response was unsatisfactoryHe said "this has never happened again" and told me to work through my car insurance companyI requested that he take the lead to figure this out with his insurance company since the car wash caused this issue and I have already invested a lot of time

The of complaint by Mr. [redacted] is misleading and incorrect. He did purchase and use our carwash as stated. He presented us with a broken wiper at the time and asked us what we could doabout it. I did give him the number of the business and explained that I would report the incidentto the owner, and...

that he should discuss the situation further with the owner.
My position is to ensure the operation of the equipment and not to determine liability regarding situations thatencompass damages or accidents. The car wash was inspected in a timely manner and is notmalfunctioning or broken. I heard nothing else about this incident again until April 4. I have noknowledge of further attempts to contact the owner or myself so I considered the issue had beenresolved and closed. On April 4, Mr. [redacted] called me directly and said he had the wiper repairedand the cost was $160 and that he expected to be reimbursed in cash. I told him, again, that Iwas not authorized to make that determination, and that I had reported it to our insurancecompany, ending my involvement. I suggested he talk to his insurance and that they wouldcontact our insurance to resolve the matter. He refused and stated that we need to pay him cashinstead of "making him go through all that work" to call his insurance company, since it"probably didn't even amount to our deductible anyway." Again, I told him that I'm not able tomake that decision. He told me he expected payment or he would "make sure everyone knowsthat he wasn't happy with our handling of the situation", hence, this complaint.
Our car wash is a self-serve automated car wash. We have posted signage at the entrance statingthat "due to the variety of vehicles, we are not responsible for damage" as well as stating that theowner and business are not responsible for damage to vehicles. Mr. [redacted] chose to use the carwash anyway and, while unfortunately this incident occurred, Mr. [redacted] was not willing to gothrough the necessary channels to resolve this and instead felt the need to demand cashimmediately or he would file a complaint. I regret this incident resulted in this way and hopeMr. [redacted] can find his way through this.
