Review: Yates Towing will keep your car for months, they won't answer phone to give any info on vechicle . The owner [redacted] has people hanging out have unlicensed mechanics and the receptionist [redacted] working on cars. I picked up my car it was raining that day didn't notice tell days later the hood was scratched. He also didn't do the work he said he had done. Been calling Mr Yates he won't answer nor return my calls or text.when they give you a receipt the info on the receipt is not accurate. People hang out in the work bays even underage kids. Dear Sir or Ma'am,

Yates Boyz Automotive received the Revdex.com complaint about our business. The complaint was submitted on 11/26/2013 at 3:42pm and was assigned ID number [redacted]. We are responding the complaint from [redacted].

[redacted] alleges that Yates Boyz Automotive/ Yates Towing had her vehicle in our possession for several months without making contacting or responding to request for information on the car is false. We made repeated calls to [redacted] to which our calls went unanswered in regards to her vehicle when **. [redacted] arrived at the shop to retrieve her vehicle.

All employees of Yates Boyz are mechanics including the person **. [redacted] refers to as a receptionist. **. [redacted] assumed because she is a female that she is the receptionist is incorrect. As a small business that is family owned each person who works for Yates Boyz Automotive/ Yates Towing handles multiple jobs on a daily basis.

**. [redacted]'s complaint is based off a 5 month old for work that was completed. On 27 of July 2013 she was charged $150.00 for the towing from [redacted], MD to our shop which is based in [redacted] MD is 34 miles one way at our rate of $4.00 per mile she was given a discounted price of $150.00 as for the work completed to the [redacted] which was replacing the timing belt and water pump. The total of the work and towing came to $660.00 which **. [redacted] and paid in cash on the 27th of July 2013.

When **. [redacted] arrived on the 27th of July 2013, Mr. Yates informed her that the [redacted] would need a transmission for her 2002 [redacted] (which is stated on her invoice as well) in the coming months. She paid her invoice in full and drove the vehicle away from the shop, we have had no contact with **. [redacted] in regards to her vehicle and was not aware of any problems with her vehicle since the 27th of July 2013.

All information on the her receipts are correct and we have attached each receipt with the letter as well have been completely unaware of situation with **. [redacted] until now especially since she has returned to us for service on her vehicle but her son and daughter’s vehicle as well.

Yate; Boyz Automotive/ Yates Towing will not be offering any refund to **. [redacted] on the work that was completed and for this alleged scratch **. [redacted] stated that is was several days before she noticed the scratch and there is no way to determine when the alleged scratch occurred and where it occurred as she drove the vehicle away from our shop and we have not had any contact with, her since except when she called and ask for a copy of her receipt for the work that was completed on the timing belt and water pump.
