Dear Sir,
On July 10, 2013, I incurred damage to my vehicle as a result of a careless employee. They broke the folding mirror on the passenger side of my Tahoe by using extreme force to push it into the vehicle.
At the time the damage was noticed (after finishing drying my car the same day), I alerted the employee that dried my vehicle. He spoke VERY LITTLE English and recommended I speak with the manager on duty. Upon speaking with the MOD, I was asked to fill out an incident sheet and asked to retain an estimate to repair my vehicle.
Per your MOD’s request, I retained the estimate on July 16, 2014 from [redacted] in [redacted] for the repair of the mirror. This estimate included parts, labor and tax. I brought the estimate into the shop with a copy of my incident sheet. The manager has the ORIGINAL estimate from them and I retained a copy for my records. There were two managers on duty at that time and assured me that I would receive a phone call from you (the owner) by Friday July 19, 2013 to coordinate the repair of my vehicle. If I had not received a call from you, to call [redacted] and that she would make sure that something was done.
Today is July 24, 2013 and I have attempted to call MANY times only for the phone to ring and ring…..no answer or voicemail. Certainly, this is not the correct image that you are attempting to project to your customers.
Legal action is not the resolution that either of us would like to be placed in the position of proceeding with. However, your continued neglect of this situation would leave me no choice than to seek liabilities for monetary damages, wasted time, etc.
I look forward to your reply and a resolution by August 1, 2013 before seeking legal action.
