product was out of two different runs and does not match?
I purchased 879.49 sf of cyrus 7x48 spc-fauna on 6/20/2019 for $1962.22. After product was laid by professional floor layer I noticed flooring was not a match. They did not have enough product on the first pallet, so they completed order by product from a second pallet . the difference was not noticeable until floor was laid.

Desired Outcome

floor should be replaced with product that matches.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.We are aware of Mr. C claim. First let me start by recounting our experience with Mr. C. He came in our store on Thursday, June 20th and selected an in stock vinyl plank. He purchased approx. 500sq ft and took the merchandise with him. He returned later that day and purchased another 200 ft. Before he left, he added another 179 sf. He left with the material and said he had his own installer, not one of our regular approved installers. He proceeded to leave the state with the product and have an installer in another state install the product. Sometime after the installation was completed, he called to say there was a problem. Had we installed the floor, our installer would have been responsible for identifying any variances before installing material and we would have been glad to stand behind the outcome. If had stopped before installing the material and brought it to our attention, we would have been glad to exchange or refund him for the material. As much as we regret Mr. C dissatisfaction, it is not within our policy to make refunds on material that has been installed by a third party.

When I arrived at Yates flooring on 6/20/2019 and asked for c.s.inabnet I was informed he was not there and referred to store manager. We proceeded to the warehouse to view the materials in stock. I picked out a product from a partial pallet but there was not enough material on pallet to fill the order. The manager found another pallet at another location in the store and asked if they could have some time to get the other pallet down , so I told them I would go to lunch . the manager said he would have the material ready when I returned. After lunch I went back and they loaded the pallet in my pickup with out securing the bundles. I paid for material and drove down the excess road an realized I had not figured the closets and had not allow for any waste, and immediately returned to store for more material. I informed the warehouse manager that I need more material and he made a new ticket. when we opened tail gate the material had shifted and they removed the pallet , restacked it and added the extra material. I asked them to secure material this time and mr. inabnet had returned and surround rapped the pallet before warehouse person loaded. the material was from two different pallets. I hired a local installer to lay material. The boxes shifted during trip and we found out after material was partially laid we had damaged material laid in some of the rooms. He removed laid flooring and carefully examined the replaced material for damage. He has 35 + years experience and stated material should have been in a wood pallet which would not allowed movement. I did not discover the different flooring until the next day after completion when the sun was shining on the floor and observing at a distance. At no time was I ever informed that if they did not install floor they would not be responsible for mismatched material. When I contacted c.s.inabnet about the variances, he asked for run numbers on boxes , which there were no run numbers to be found. He said he would talk to district rep and called back at a later date to verify I would be available On august 6 so rep could see floor. I never saw rep or received any further correspondence. I had no idea I was dealing with a company that would not stand behind the product they sold and would not make things right. It is hard for me to believe his installers are responsible for bad material if they fail to discover it before it is laid. The mismatched material is not noticeable standing above it, only when looking at it down the hall or at an angle that it really stands out in good lighting.
