Review: I bought my car from YBH in July and part of the price of the car was the tag and title. When I purchased the car I also had a trade in which they accepted. They said that they had trouble with transferring the title of my old car and could not order my license plate until that had been resolved. Unfortunately when they went to do my title, they wrote down the license number that was on my trade in. I called them and asked if they had kept the license plate or if a new one was going to be sent to me, and they said that they assumed I had kept the old plate. I advised that this is not something they had instructed me to do, so I had not done this. Since my temporary tags were now expired, they ordered me new ones. Those temporary tags have since expired and I still do not have the new license plate. I spoke with the woman in titles again today and she said that she could not get me new temporary tags as the license plate was finished, however she does not know where it is. So it has been 7 months that I have had the car and I am driving with expired tags which they say that they cannot help me with AND I still do not have a license plate. Another point is that they were never the one to contact me about these issues. I always have to contact them, generally multiple times.Desired Settlement: I would like my temporary tags delivered so that I can legally drive around until the plate comes in. I would like the license plate as soon as possible.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. As I have received my license plate, I feel that the issue has resolved. However, I do feel that they did not understand the problem that they registered my plates as the ones that were sold on the trade in vehicle. At the time of sale, no one advised that we should keep the plates on the old car so we did not think to do so. My complaints were that it took a very long time for the process to be completed, that they never advised me in the beginning that I should keep the plates, and that their customer service was very poor. I made many phone calls to the titles department and was often told that she would call me back shortly. Generally I would not receive a call back that day and I would have to call again the next day. I do admit that I was emailed at one time where I was at fault for a delayed response as my email sorted the correspondence as spam. Since I have now received my plate, I no longer wish this to go on. I will not be dealing with YBH in the future due to this experience. I would like the complaint to remain on the website if possible to warn others who might be dealing with YBH.

Review: On Monday, July 17, 2012 I purchased a vehicle from YBH Audi. This is the specific model I was looking to buy and was excited to find one fairly close to home. The previous Friday July 14th I went to YBH Audi to test drive this vehicle which is a 2002 Audi S4. Immediately upon the salesman backing the car out of its spot I noticed a "clunking" noise from the rear passenger wheel area. I pointed this out to [redacted], the salesman, and the used sales manager [redacted]. I test drove the car and agreed to put a down payment on the car to hold until Monday as long as they would check out the noise I heard. When I returned on Monday, they said that they checked out the wheel, suspension, braking system, etc. from that area of the car and found nothing wrong. I proceeded to buy the car and agreed to pay more than the car was actually worth since they were assuring me that the car was a quality car. At the time of purchase the Blue Book value was about $10,000 for a mint condition 02 Audi S4 and they listed the car for $11,999 and after taxes and such I paid about $13,000. They reassured me that this car was well worth it and would be a reliable vehicle. A few weeks later I happened to be driving with the windows and radio down and noticed the noise I heard the first day. After several calls, I came to the conclusion and shared this thought with [redacted] and [redacted] the GM, that it was obvious that they did not do a pre-sale inspection on the vehicle before selling it to me and also did not check the car for the noise I pointed out. I also shared my thoughts on not being able to trust that they were being truthful about anything dealing with this car and said I would have another Audi dealership do a full inspection and foot them the bill. Also, that upon this inspection, if any major repairs were found that may have been hidden from me would lead to me bringing the car back for a full refund. [redacted] said he would not pay that bill and after about an hour or so of sharing my discontent, He agreed to take the car back for another inspection and leave me a loaner vehicle in the meantime. I expressed that I could not be sure they would even look at the car since the trust has been tainted and thats all I had when buying a vehicle from them. None the less, I let them proceed. With in 6 months of owning this car, I had to bring it into the shop for major repairs. It looked like the head gaskets were going which is several thousand dollars to repair, but once the mechanic started pulling the engine apart, He notified me that both turbos were blown. This repair is even more costly. The mechanic expressed that this kind of problem doesn't happen over night and it was extremely likely that the dealer knew of this problem long before selling me the car. I have tried getting in touch with the GM [redacted] several time via email and had a response from [redacted] via telephone. He informed me that I was in no position to accuse them of lie-ing or deceiving me when selling me this faulty vehicle and that they could not be held responsible for this problem. He then extended to provide me with a good deal on refurbished turbos, but this was after repairs have started on the car and I could not in good judgment put used parts into this car with the cost of repairs being so high. I suggested He talk to the mechanic to get a better idea of how long this problem was likely to exist but there was never any contact made. Now I have paid several thousand dollars over the value of the car and then several thousand dollars more to repair this "reliable" car with in 6 short months.Desired Settlement: Im not looking for any handouts and would be willing to cover the costs of the parts, since they were only willing to provide access to used parts. I think they should be responsible to cover the labor costs.
