We take all complaints from our customers seriouslyIn this instance we do not take responsibility however, and refute the customers assertionsWe request this claim be dismissed and expunged from our business recordHere is why: Regarding [redacted] , the original repairs were completed on our RO ***The unit came in without keys and the customer stated the unit would not startWe replaced the required parts and had the unit running when it left our facilityWe did note on the repair order than the unit needed the right rear inner CV boot torn and that the axle would need to be replaced and that the motor smoked excessively - the customer did not want these issues addressedThe unit left on 10/The customer brought the unit back in on 10/stating the unit quit running on himRO *** We completed 3+ hours of diagnostics and found the issues were not related to the repairs that we had performedThe customer stated that he was willing to spend $more to have the unit repaired, if that would fix itThat would not of been enough to repair the unit as the unit had, in addition to the issues mentioned above that the customer did not want to repairThe customer was called and advised of the situationThe customer came in and was shown the unit, what we found in regards to the wiring harness, which would of required complete replacement to properly address the electrical issuesHe became verbally abusive using curse words during that instance, at the counter when we waved all fee's for the additional diagnostics as well as again in the parking lot in front of other customersThank you, [redacted] General Manager

I am rejecting this response because: When we picked up the four wheeler on 10-7-we were told it was running. It never ran for us when we got it home. When you pay someone $you expect the machine to run. Yes they had informed us of some additional things that needed to be done but no one ever mentioned that the machine was not running. All we ask for is honesty. I have dealt with many shops over the years repairing different pieces of equipment but never had such poor results as this. Yes, my husband was mad, but who wouldn't be when you pay $and the machine is still not running and you were told it was fixed.

I am rejecting this response because: I have not said anything that was not true and I do not appreciate you insinuating that I have. The four wheeler dogged the entire time it was running. I could not get it to start to even get it off the trailer. I had to roll it off the trailer not drive it. My husband was sure he could get it to run properly but it never did and after about yards it completely quit. How can you say you never said any untruths. My husband was called and told the four wheeler was fixed and ready to pick up. I think any customer would assume that meant it was running properly.When you take your car to the shop to fix the transmission you expect the gears to shift and the car to run smoothly when you pay for the work and leave the garage with your car. That is what you depend on to get you to work and anywhere else you need to travel to. The same is true with our four wheelers. They are not toys for us to have fun on they are the tools we use to check cattle, move cattle, check fences and anything else we do on our farms. We are missing an important tool here.

We have been straightforward with the customer from the beginningI do not accept the accusation we have not been honestWe are not the party contradicting our statements here Please note the original complaint the customer said: "I paid this company over $to fix my four wheelerGot it home and it quit again in the middle of a pasture." PI direct your attention to the statement from the rebuttal: "I am rejecting this response because: When we picked up the four wheeler on 10-7-we were told it was running. It never ran for us when we got it home.." (underline added for clarity) Look, I will always go the extra mile for reasonable customers that are patient and even somewhat understandingHowever, when our integrity is called into question an upstanding business is compelled to defend itselfBased on the conflicting account from the customer I cannot in good faith go any farther and truly regret thisIn over years in Powersports this has only happened a couple times.
