Revdex.comRE: *** * ***On August 6, our client Zillah Chiropractic Center called us to say they had made an error and this account was turned over twice. A $payment was paid in August and they did not adjust the balance. Mr*** paid another
$100.00, which we had been notified of and had written up as a direct payment. We canceled the account in our office because of the clients error. Mr***' credit history has not been harmed.Sincerely,Sheila B***

Our office received the complaint from [redacted].  [redacted] & [redacted] were turned over to collections for a check written to Costco that had a stop payment placed on it.  On 10/31/16 [redacted] called into our office and paid with a card over the phone the amount owing of...

$50.38.  A check was issued to our client later that evening and mailed to our client, Costco a week later. [redacted] contacted our office again on 11/28/16 inquiring as to why Costco hadn't been notified, she was advised on our end the balance was paid in full and we would check with Costco.  We spoke with our client multiple times advising was paid in full here.  Finally on 12/08/16 in a conversation with Costco we were told that even though in our contract with Costco they know we will charge a commission on a stop payment check, they still require their card holder to pay the difference and it was this difference that was owing from [redacted] & [redacted].We contacted [redacted] on 12/09/16 and explained the balance still owing at Costco to him and that he needed to make contact with Costco about the balance owing and their policies.  We mailed the consumer a printout showing a zero balance in our office and that their payment was applied on 10/31/16.

Revdex.com,I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Someone is not telling the truth. Because Carolyn P[redacted] at ValCare (the company which handles the accounts) told me that YCCS accounts showed it was paid and hers did too.  So someone's ethics and business practices need to come into question here. It would not surprise me that it was ValCare, since this was originally sent to YCCS without my ever receiving a statement in the mail from ValCare. Carolyn P[redacted] can be contacted at [redacted]@live.com Regards,[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com Moderator & Mr. [redacted],
We are in receipt of the complaint forwarded to us by your office.
On Thursday June 23rd, 2016 [redacted] came into our office with 2 letters stating that she wanted to pay off the judgement. A collector was called to the counter to...

help Mrs. [redacted], they explained the amount of the judgment was $410.04 and she paid this amount, she alsoreceived a print out of all accounts on this date.
On Friday June 24th, 2016 around 2:15pm [redacted] called into our office and spoke with the collection manager, he stated that his wife was supposed to pay on [redacted]'s tickets not on the civil judgment, [redacted] was advised that according to our notes that is where his wife requested the payment to be applied. [redacted] was asked to have his wife contact us.
That same afternoon around 4:00 pm [redacted] returned to our office and explained that she got confused about the civil judgment & the tickets in our office. After talking with [redacted] we reversed the way the payment was applied and then applied the full $410.04 to the ticket that she requested and gave her a new printout showing the tickets and the balance owing.
It is our understanding after talking to [redacted] that they matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,
Sheila B[redacted], President

Review: I owed collections about 1000 dollars and accidentally paid $105 over. They said I would recieve reimburstment for the over paid amount. I have called 3 times and each time they say they will mail it out the next day. It has been since November that they have not given me any money back.Desired Settlement: I want my money back that was overpaid on my collection account.

Response:

Please accept our apologize, our company installed a complete new computer system on January 2, 2014. We are a little behind with all of the up dates, everything's a little behind. Mr. [redacted] does have an overpayment due, after trying to reach him by phone to ask if he wanted to come into the office to pick up the check, or we would mail it. On January 16, 2014, the check was mailed to him.

Sincerely Yours

[redacted], President

Review: This company has violated multiple laws pertaining to debt collection.

on 7/1/2014 at 12:49 PST this company sent a collection request to a former employer via a public fax this request included my personal information (including my SSN) where ALL of my information was openly viewed by anyone and everyone who passed by the fax machine.

1.) distributing my collection in public forum.

2.) contacting an employer without consent, or contacting me first.

3.) distributing my personal information, including my SSN in a non confidential manner.

To Whom It May Concern:

On July 1, 2014, a telephone call was made to [redacted] presumed employer to verify whether or not he is currently employed by the company. Our office was told a fax would be required for that purpose. Under Third Party Communications, Obtaining Location Information (Skiptracing) we may contact a third party such as consumer's place of employment, for that purpose.

If we can be any more assistance please feel free to contact our office.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is an outright lie, I spoke to my previous employer and no such request was submitted via telephone. Even if there was a request, it is illegal to send anyone's personal information over a public fax in order to obtain a debt and you completely negate this fact in your response.

Regards,

Business

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

You are not allowed to publicly publish any information pertaining to a debt, nor are you allowed to publicly publish my personal information, such as my full name, address, and or SSN which you have done with all three. I have the documentation to prove you sent my personal information to a public fax machine without the consent of anyone, my personal information was out for everyone and anyone to openly view.

Review: This shaddy unethical lying company is using illegal collection practices to get their money by garnishing our paycheck and then taking right back on attorney fees that wipe out what had already been garnished making it completely useless rather than just accepting payment arrangements from me which they refused before sending to an attorney firm who's also crooks [redacted] who's fees keep piling on.Desired Settlement: Would like to set up affordable payment arrangements that won't make us have to lose our home just to pay this off!

Response:

They are trying to collect illegally on a discharged debt included in our bankruptcy in 2004 which I am going to contact an attorney about now. I just noticed that for [redacted], they were included in the bankruptcy.

YCCS constantly calls me with a complaint from a previous owner of my cell phone . They constantly call even when I tell them that I have nothing to do with said person or bills .
Would like for calls to discontinue , or a way to file a suit against them for Harrassment .

Review: I was served a summons by Yakima County Credit Service for a bill my ex-wife did or did not pay. Yakima County Credit Service has entered myself as a defendant in a case I know nothing about, except that the bill was for my ex-wife and it was for Premier Women's Health for $561.19 and it was for services on Feb. 28 2014. I have been divorced from her for 7 years now and lived in Benton county for all those years. How dare Yakima County Credit Service serve me a court summons without at least looking at my profile or checking my records. I have also been married to another wife for 6 years. I went to add my wife to an account I have and she was refused because of Yakima County Credit Service putting bad credit on my reports. This is very unprofessional and most likely very unlawful action taken byYakima County Credit Service against me.Desired Settlement: I would like a written apology mailed to me for the trouble they have caused, a letter explaining that there is not any legal action against me and any bad credit they have placed on my credit reports removed ASAP.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

As stated in the complaint for resolution. I would like a written apology mailed to me for the trouble they have caused me in this matter. This was not just a simple error on there part. I see this as a form of harassment.

Regards,

Review: I received notification from my employer that my wages were going to be garnished. I had absolutely NO prior knowledge of this. Upon investigation of the matter I found that YCCS had filed a judgment upon me for a debt incurred by my ex-husband AFTER we were legally divorced! At no point did YCCS verify that we were married or divorced or make any attempt to locate me. I could have provided proof of divorce prior to this action. So now I have a judgment against me for something I am not legally responsible for. And it has reflected poorly on me in my employer's eyes. Just because I have the same last name as someone else does not mean a collection agency can ruin my credit and reputation in an attempt to illegally obtain money from me.Desired Settlement: I want the judgment reversed and my credit history corrected. I would also like a letter from YCCS stating that they made an error and charged me for something that was not my legal responsibility to I can give it to my employer to try and repair my tarnished reputation.

The issue has not been resolved because I still have not received repayment of the money that was garnished from my paycheck prior to them rescinding the garnishment. Again, I was NOT the person legally responsible for this debt but they took me to court without notifying me or making any attempt whatsoever to communicate with me. If they had, I would have told them they had the wrong person and avoided this whole mess.

Response:

I am sorry it has taken so much time to get back to you, we have been trying to call, [redacted], employer [redacted], to find out where her paycheck is, as we mailed it back to them 7/13/13. According to the affidavit served on Mr. [redacted] papers were served on [redacted] by leaving a copy with Mr. [redacted]. This file has now been closed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

As far as I am concerned the Revdex.com has fulfilled their obligation. However, as far as YCCS is concerned, they have refused to address the issue. I will continue to pursue to legal action against the company for illegal debt collection activities (according to the "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act"). At the time the debt was incurred I was already legally divorced from the person who owed the debt. Also, according to YCCS, they served [redacted] in 2011. At that time, we had been legally divorced for 3 years. They claim they notified me by leaving the papers with [redacted]. But we were divorced and I did not live at the residence. At absolutely NO TIME was I legally responsible for this debt. However, YCCS learned my name from public records and proceeded with litigation against me in an attempt to get the money even though it was through unethical and fraudulent means. YCCS refuses to acknowledge their responsibility and maintains that they can take legal action against anyone whether or not they are actually responsible.
