Review: My husband and I purchased a large (23x13 foot)awning from [redacted] in August 2008 for $ 5,216.25.

It is still under warranty.

The stitching is unraveling down the center seam of the awning and needs to be repaired.

For approximately a month we tried to contact the owner of[redacted]) to address this issue.

After several phone calls and two trips to the place of business, he finally called us.

His response to our problem was to call the manufacturer of the awning (a company he no longer does business with).

My husband got the name and phone number of the manufacturer and called them. They say that since we purchased the awning from[redacted] is the company who needs to address this problem.

We called [redacted] back a week ago and still haven't gotten a return call.Desired Settlement: [redacted] will take this awning for repair or replacement.

Any labor required to do this will be done by [redacted] and at no further cost to us.
