Ye' Old Gun Club

On August 6, 2019, I met with the owner of Ye' Old Gun Club, *** at his residence. At this time I provided Mr. with check number 175 in the amount of $365.00 representing my first annual membership for access to the Ye' Old Gun Club. Mr. provided me with the key to access the club. In February, 2020 I received a billing statement for the 2020 annual membership to Ye' Old Gun Club from *** with a due date of March 1, 2020. This bill further details membership runs from March 1, 2020 to March 1, 2021. I subsequently contacted Mr. at *** to discuss the billing discrepancy and why my account was due in March, 2020 instead of August, 2020 since I had already paid for an annual membership. Mr. simply stated that is how he runs his business and has no better way to keep track of accounts. I advised Mr. that a business should have adequate accounting and the simple use of available software could mitigate this problem. Mr. became indignation with me asking where I was from. This was completely irrelevant and in my opinion an effort to attack me since I do not have a southern accent. I again reiterated that I had purchased an annual membership valid until August 2020. Mr. again stated the above described method is how he conducts business and told me I would have to pay the $175 by the due date. He also tole me I could find a better solution for him to run his business and keep track of memberships. At this time the conversation was terminated with no amenable solution.
