On November 21st 2015, we had our first snow stormOn Richard [redacted] contract I had hand wrote to my employees to plow this address and to be sure to shovel by the back door so the customer can get out My worker did not do that and was fired for this reason Richard called me on my cell phone advising me of the problem and I was there within minutes to shovel an area 3Xthat was missed giving my apologiesOn December 28th there was an ice storm All day long it rained, hailed, then got cold and turned to ice My contract says snow will be removedI do not provide an de-icing service to residential contracts I went to my customers only as to show good faith, letting them know we are always trying to assist in any way possible They are paying me up front and we never want anyone to feel neglected nor cheated Year Round Maintenance, Inchas been providing residential and commercial plowing for exactly years now We are always being pushed to new limits and sometimes, not always, will the outcome be perfect or to everyone's exact preferenceAs the owner, I must make very difficult choices on how to handle each and every snow event that arises by serving the customer as best as possible per the signed contract This particular event after being on site, realized the ice could barely be moved by shovel or snow blowers After an extended period of time trying as hard as humanly possible at over homes, we were all able to clean walks 70% wide and all driveways by pushing water and ice with the plow to provide safety to all propertiesRichard called a day later saying his walks were not done I said, "Were not done at all or not real wide?" He said, "Were not cleared." I said, "That's vague, did we miss the walks because we did clear the walks 36" wide for the wheel chair access as requestedHe would not answer my question as to if it was done, not done at all or not as wide as expected He then proceeded to hang upThere were no multiple attempts from Richard to clarify what the issue was with the walk waysInstead a decision was made on his behalf to disconnect the call and not explain what the issue was for us to resolveThe terms of the contract were met and continue to be met so therefore the contract total of $for the full season will not be refunded at this time or in the futureService will continue on up to and including April 1st as stated in the said contract from Year Round Maintenance, Inc

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: The terms of the contract are simple and clear All sidewalks and driveways will be cleared, not 70% clear I expect the entire job complete or would like my money refunded I do not wish bad blood or ill-will I only wish to get what I paid for I am happy to continue, as I am a repeat customer, provided all walks and driveways are cleared Sincerely, Richard [redacted]
