Yeerae Exterior

Review: In early June 2013 we signed a contract with Yeerae construction and paid them a $12,000 deposit on an $18,500 job to replace the siding on our house. Yeerae never did the work. They rescheduled us at the last minute (e.g. the night before) several times. We then revised the terms of the contract and we both agreed that if they did not start the job by September 25, 2013 that they would refund our $12,000, as well as another $3,000 for all of the trouble they caused us, within 4 business days. Yeerae claims to have mailed us the $15,000 check but a week has passed and we have not received it. I asked several times to cancel the check and meet me in person to make the payment. Yeerae refuses to do this. We have repairs that need to be made to our house and we cannot do that because Yeerae will not pay us our money.Desired Settlement: We simply want the $15,000 they owe us. I have consulted an attorney but do not wish to pursue this through formal litigation unless Yeerae forces the issue by not paying us.
