Review: I TOOK YELLOW CAB FROM HOME TO A NEAR BY [redacted] AND THE DRIVER CHARGED ME $10.00 FOR A $6.75 TRIP AND THE DISPATCHER TOLD ME THAT THE CAB WILL BE BRINGING ME BACK A 10:30PM AND A NO SHOW SO I CALLED BACK AND THE DISPATCHER SAID THE DRIVER WAS ALMOST THERE AND STILL NO SHOW SO I CALLED BACK AND THE DISPATCHER SAID THE DRIVER SAID HE PICKED UP AT [redacted] AND SHE WAS YELLING AT ME AND I TOLD HER I WOULD REPORT HER AND SHE SAID U WANT DO [redacted] AND SHE ALSO SAID [redacted] AND THE BEHIND THAT SHE CALLED ME THE [redacted] WORD THEN HUNG UP ON ME. I KEPT CALLING BACK AND SHE KEPT PICKING UP AND HANGING UP WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. THEN FINALLY SHE ANSWERED AND SAID GO TO [redacted] AND THEN THE [redacted] WORD AGAIN. AND THIS CAUSED MY HEART RATE TO GO TO 150.Desired Settlement: A REFUND OF $3.25. AND THE DISPATCHER TO BE FIRED. AND THEM TO MAKE THINGS BETTER.

On June 8, I instructed our manager [redacted] to investigate this complaint. She spoke to Mr. [redacted] on June 9th to obtain more exact information on the call times so we could check our security cameras. After obtaining times Mr. [redacted] gave us we reviewed our security tapes and found no use of any profanity during the times before, during and after the alleged complaint time. We also spoke with both dispatchers on duty and they remembered Mr. [redacted] because he kept using profanity and was rude to the dispatchers. The dispatchers did say two cabs were dispatched to [redacted] but did not know if they picked up. We cannot verify that Mr. [redacted] paid $10.00 for a $6.75 trip, but are willing to refund $3.25 as a gesture of good will. Please send us a current address. Our dispatchers always strive to give the very best service possible and know if they use profanity their job would be in jeopardy. Yellow cab will not tolerate this type of behavior. I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They are lying I have a witness who was sitting in front of me when it happen. And I did not use profanity until the dispatcher called me the * word. And I have a text on my phone to prove that I did pay $10.00 for a $6.75 trip. Dispatchers are trying to save their tails but I have proof.
