Dear Revdex.com,This letter is in reply to complaint id #1[redacted]5.Customer purchased airsoft rifle on March 4, 2017. The rifle that he received was sealed in the package, unopened. This model does not come with battery or charger. But when he called and said that gun did not have charger...
or battery, we told him to come in. We gave him a battery and charger for that rifle at no charge to him, and both items were new.On the March 15,2017 customer brought gun back in saying that air soft rifle was not functioning properly. After I inspected rifles, found rifle gearbox or motor was not cycling correctly. I went to replace rifles with a model that is behind the counter on display, same models as purchased. The customer said rifle was used. The rifle had only been on display, never sold. Only looked at. At which time I placed battery in rifle and test fired in front of customer to make sure everything was working properly. Which it did. Customer was insistent that he wanted a refund. Saying that gun was not new. I gave the analogy of a new car at dealership. Even if it is test driven by someone and not bought it is still consider new. The rifle we were replacing was strictly on display, never been fired or had a battery in it until that afternoon.Also I was the gentleman that rang him up at the register. I told him if there were any problems to bring it back in and see me. I never said we would refund his money. On most cases we either replace item or send back into factory under warranty to be fixed or replaced at their manufactures desecration. Mr. Beltran was unwilling to accept a replacement and solely wanted his money back.He now complains that second rifle is defective within this new written complaint. The defect rate with the manufacture of that model is very low. I sell that company due to product quality and lack of defects.We work to accommodate customers the best we can. He was set on wanting a refund and nothing less than that would do. Thank you, Mark Jernigan
