Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Yellow Pages Online Listing regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: On June **, 2015 @ 12:43 pm our business received a voice message from a person by the name of Richard B[redacted] claiming he was from the paralegal department of Yellow Pages Online Listings. He was calling to notify us of our court date was scheduled for July [redacted] for a unpaid past due bill and if we called back and paid the bill the court date and fillings against our personal credit record would be dropped. He left the phone number of ###-###-####. When I called him back on June **, 2015 he continued to say how he had a recording of our consent to the advertising listing but when I asked for proof of anything he said he didn't have to prove anything and he only had to prove it in a court of law and our court date was on July ** at 11:30 am in New York City. He then proceeded to tell me our bill was $1499.99 but he could get it down to $1099.99 if I paid with a check over the phone or a credit card right then. I then told him we didn't have that kind of money and this was a scam. I would not pay for anything without proof of advertisement or even my consent on paper to the listings. I then told him I only agree to anything on paper in front of me and nothing over the phone. At which point he tried saying he had a recording of me agreeing to the bill. I then told him I was going to report him to the attorney general and the Revdex.com. He acted like it didn't matter and said go right ahead at which point I told him I was done with this phone conversation and if he call us again I would charge him with harassment. He did end up calling 5 more times in the matter of 3 minutes . I just didn't ever answer.

This hasn't been the first time I have been contacted by these scam artist. Our business has been taken by them before. They have called their business Yellow Pages Online Advertisement, Yellow Pages Online, Yellow Pages Solutions, Yellow Pages.com, Yellow Pages Publications, Yellow Page Editions, Yellow Pages United, and Yellow Pages Resources. Since 2007 to date we have paid out over $6,900.00 due to these bogus advertisement billing claims.Desired Settlement: I want no further contact by this business and harassing us with bogus claims. I also would like to see these scammers to be exposed and shut down. I would also like a refund for the $6,955.79 we have paid out to these same people since 2007 to date.

Again this hasn't been the first time I have been contacted by these scam artist.

Review: I was contacted by telephone by this group, requesting that I pay a past due amount on the account. I was certain that I had not contracted to advertise with this group, as I already have another yellow pages group that does advertising for us, which is on automatic payment. the man became insistent that we had contracted in 2013 to advertise for two years and had paid $1,000.00 for the first year back in 2013. I took over our family business in 2011 when my husband suffered a [redacted], and have been systematically cutting back on our advertising expenses, and told him I thought it was unlikely. Then he told me that the amount owed was over $3,00.00. and that the $1,000.00 had been an "introductory rate", at which point I replied that I would NEVER have authorized any advertising that included such a huge jump in fees, as we are a small seasonal business and don't make enough money to justify that kind of expenditure. He became argumentative and threatening and at that point I authorized him to take $500.00 from my account, but upon further reflection I believe I have made a grave error and that this is an advertising scam. The man refused to send me a receipt for the amount paid or any kind of invoices for the services that he says his company provided. In one of the more recent conversations that I have had with this man, I asked for the last 4 digits of the account from which he says the initial payment was made, and it did not match my debit card number. I acknowledge the possibility that my husband, who has been partially disabled by a [redacted] and is not authorized to make business decisions, may have made this alleged initial payment, but it seems unlikely since that would be a huge amount of money missing from our account and I would have noticed its absence. When I informed the man that that was not my card number and that I am the only person authorized to make decisions for our business, and that my husband had been disabled and was not allowed to make decisions for the business, he was unresponsive and somewhat threatening.Desired Settlement: I would like to stop being harassed by this company and would like no further contact from them. I do not believe that I owe these people any money at all. If in fact we have payed them the alleged amount of $1,500.00, I wish them to provide a receipt for that amount and a copy of the contract they say was agreed upon in 2013. If this was indeed authorized by my disabled husband I wish them to respect that he was not authorized to make the initial payment and accept the monies received as payment in full,

Consumer

Review: This company has scammed our company. They're harassing us for more money and stating incorrect information and misrepresenting our company. Our company's name is [redacted]. They have us on paper as named [redacted]. THAT IS NOT US AT ALL......... FALSE..........FRAUD!! They can't provide me with any documents stating what I have agreed to. Everything is false! I have asked for a supervisor's name, our company info and they can't give me anything. I am fed up with this endless loophole. I want them to stop harassing me and to take our company off of their calling lists. I am not paying them.Desired Settlement: We want to CANCEL all accounts and to have our company information off their calling lists. NO more.
