Review: Yellow pages is advertising my business name as CLOSED as well as listing a fake phone number - which brings the caller directly to Yellow Pages. I have requested them to take it down but they do not. This extortion act is costing me business profitsDesired Settlement: I want Yellow Pages to either leave me alone or provide me with free service - its hard to believe they think its OK to do this

I want YP to provide me with a correction to this advertisement - with my correct phone number and address, contact information, etc. at no cost to me - it being only fair. They must correct the damage done to my business name and position.

Review: yellowpages.com miss represented its products and failed to deliver on its contract. YP was supposed to advertise my business and get my account set up so I could manage it. Failed on both accounts. Weeks after the advertising for my business was "LIVE" I called the tracking number they used in my advertising and the number it was forwarded to was not to me but to a number that was disconnected. This had the negative effect of making my business look like we couldn't even pay a phone bill, though we have had the same number continuously for the last 24 years. This problem once corrected allowed the calls to started rolling in. The calls were people from different states and for products and services that had nothing to do with my industry. This wasted my time and tied up my phone with calls that denied service to real customers. I have spent hours trying to contact someone at YP to just fix these problems then more time on hold and trying to sort out these problems. I am still unable to access my account online dealing with billing. This goes beyond breach of contract and has become a liability. No one has called me back as promised or returned my messages from last week. These problems have been playing out for 5 months and they refuse to cancel the contract or reconcile with me.Today there phone lines are busy.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund from YP and I want YP to remove all advertising and mention of my company that they produced online or anywhere else that they may have referred to my company.

Review: This company is continuing to dump their phone books on my private property. They have been instructed to halt this practice on numerous occasions and my property is marked "No Trespassing". I have attempted to go through every level of this organization to get this to stop and every time I'm assured it will never happen again.Desired Settlement: Desired resolution: The last time I made a complaint, which this company received, it said that should they deliver another phone book to my property they agree to pay several fees. My required resolution is contact from their CEO, and no one else, to discuss why this keeps happening, their incompetence and when I can expect payment.

Contact will be made no later than 1 week from the company's receipt of this complaint. Any employees of YellowPages caught on the property will be placed under citizens arrest and charges will be brought against that individual.

Review: I want to have my YP listing deleted. They made errors on the listing including a BUSINESS CLOSED and a primary phone number was listed wiwth my fax number. I have been trying for almost two weeks now and nothing has been done. How do I get UNLISTED from YP? They don't seem to have a clue.Desired Settlement: Delete the free yp listing for my business. They are really hurting my bottom line! It is difficult to keep a small business going. I don't need a company as prevelant as YP advertising that my business is CLOSED!!!!!

Review: In May, we received a call from Yellow Pages verifying our address and phone number and we were told an invoice would be sent to us. We then called yellow pages back the same day to cancel- so that we would not be billed or signed up for any services, and received a cancellation number ([redacted]). [redacted] at Yellow Pages contacted us this week informing us that we have not paid any invoices (which were not received to our knowledge) and that they would be submitting this to a collections agency by the end of the week. When the cancellation was explained to [redacted] today, he was very dismissive and insisted that it was impossible that we could have canceled. When I provided him with the confirmation we received, he continued to say that there is no way we could have canceled, that wasn't a cancellation number and that a letter would have been sent. None of which was mentioned to us during the cancellation phone call on May [redacted]. The original verification phone call was very rushed and seemed much like a trap to get you to authorize something you are unaware of, which is why the cancellation call was made the same day. Also, their recorded authorization call (before the cancellation) was done by a front desk personnel, not one of the studio owners.Desired Settlement: We would like yellow pages to acknowledge the original cancellation of service- resulting in us owing them nothing, and to cease calling and/or billing us.

Review: To whom this may concern I got a called from the representative from yp called darren r[redacted] in November proposing that they can drive more customers to my website every month so I decided to go ahead and give them abtry because they sound promising not knowing that I have to take a contract for a year so as I proceeded to read the fine prints it States that its mot guarenteed customers and any money owed I would be reliable for it so I called mr darren r[redacted] telling him to please put this advertising on hold till I consult with !my lawyer so I did .I text mr r[redacted] about couple days after telling him sorry for wasting hisbtime but this contract is not for me I want out he still decided to put true a check into !y account for 230.00 which I give him a void check with no amount on it I spoken to several representative and they said they seen I called and wanted to cancel I need my funds backDesired Settlement: I simply want back my refund because I told the representative that I will not be using them for advertising
