It is unfortunate that the customer was not happy with what occurred with their transactionThru the many years we have been in
business, we have had customers purchase clothing items because they either left theirs at home or the airline lost their luggageWe are in a resort area and this happened a lotThey would purchase clothing items and use them for a few days and then wish to return them after they did not need them anymoreThis led us to a policy of no returns on clothing purchasesThis is clearly stated on our purchase receipts that the customer is givenThe employee was only following that policy and showed the customer this on the receiptHowever, this customer claims they were told that they could return the helmet, which is clothing, the next morning if it did not fitI do not dispute that this may be true and if I would have known this at the time, even though they waited a full extra day, I would have instructed the employee to return the helmet with no hesitationWe honor what we tell our customers regardless of policyI will authorize the return of this helmet in its original box with all items includedAfter receiving the helmet in satisfactory condition, we will refund the full purchase price of $We will need the credit card info to process the refund as our systems do not retain any of that information
