Yellowstone Watch Repair

This guy was a fraud and glorified battery/movement-swop con artist with no real training or experience in watch repair who ripped people off for years and moved his business around to avoid his local reputation catching up with him. His business is closed now.

I have to let you know about my experience with Yellowstone watch repair. after many years of keeping excellent time my 40 year old seiko world timer stopped. After taking it to 2 different men I have done business with for years and having them both tell me it could not be repaired I got on line and found Yellowstone. I called and spoke to Ken he assured me he could fix it---a few short weeks later he returned my watch with all functions working--several days later the date reused to change. I called ken and returned the watch----this time he had the watch for several months--he explained he was having a hard time finding the necessary part--and this was the reason my one guy said it could not be repaired seiko had stopped making the "parts" and this man has restored watches for me many times---i told Ken keep the watch until you can find the right wheel and he did--it is running perfect and I must applaud Ken for his professionalism and desire to make good on his promise to get my watch running. I would certainly use Yellowstone again for any watch that I would want repaired

I can personally attest to the skill of this watchmaker. He honors his warranty and gets to the bottom of the problem, no matter how unusual.

I sent a Movado watch by USPS priority mail to them for $5.95 which they received
Monday, January 11, 2016.
They had done nothing to the watch, not even an estimate, so on Monday, January 25 I requested it to be returned.
They are going to charge me $18.75 to return it claiming that it will take someone's time etc. I have waited 14 days to even get an estimate and I want it shipped back for the same $5.95 USPS priority mail rate. I feel that it an excessive charge for a return on a watch that they have done nothing for 14 days.

I can't thank YWR enough for their professional handling of my 35+ year old Seiko watch! I was admittedly worried about shipping my father's watch out of state for repair, but I am so happy I did! I was notified when they received the watch, when they had examined the watch, when work had been completed and when my watch was being shipped back to me. It couldn't have been a better experience and the watch runs like new! My daughter now has her grandfather's Seiko watch and is able to wear it proudly in his memory!

YWR did exactly what they said they would do! I'm so grateful!
