I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Received your letter of notice (#[redacted]) about a complaint from someone not getting their cottage deposit returned. It has been a longstanding policy of Yerkey's Cottages to return deposits within 90 days of occupancy date only if the cottage can be rented. This individual gave about 3weeks notice...

for his one week booking. Most people plan their weekly vacations well in advance and not many reservations are made within just 3 weeks. This person made his about nine weeks out. Many make reservations in Jan. and Feb. for the summer. This individual seems to think because deposit returns are not on the web-site that he is entitled to a refund. The web-site is for general info. If a refund was important to him he should have asked before writing a check. I lose the balance of the weekly rental due because the cottage was not rerented because of the short notice. No refund will be issued. Bob Yerkey Yerkey's Cottages
