Ms [redacted] purchased flooring from Ritchie's in [redacted] and she hired a contractor to install this plus [redacted] plywood which was stapled underneath the vinyl. Her...
contractor "botched" the job and when Ms. [redacted] called us we sold her another piece at a very good price to help her out and also had one of our installers put the new flooring dovvn. We then receive another call from Ms. [redacted] stating that her pipes were leaking and she had to have a plumber come in to repair which cost her $[redacted].**. We understand that things happen and mistakes can be made however she informed us that our installer put staples in the flooring too close to her pipes. Our "gripe" I guess is that we are unsure if it was the initial installation when this occurred or if it was indeed our installer and unfortunately there is no way to know for certain. Instead of pursuing this and spending more of all of our valuable time we have issued a cheque to Ms. [redacted] as final settlement for this issue.
