HORRIBLE...SCAMMER...LIAR...STAY AWAY...RUN!!! The owner Matt Chadwick messed up everything in our business build out. We had to pay a month of rent without the doors open because the owner said "I already made my profit off this job why would I care about a deadline". He missed all time deadlines he promised. We caught his painter sleeping on the concrete floor getting paid from our LLC to SLEEP! As owners we ourselves with our friends had to complete the job and fire A-1 Job Busters. Do your self a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Matt, the "handyman" was more a manager of people. He attempted to build us shudders for the exterior of our house having his wife and brother dtasin them while he cut the wood. The shudders were never completed after three weeks, several different wood stains purchased, the wood was jagged, they couldn't stain any two shudders the same color. They were incompetent and still wanted to charge us a whole lot more than raw cut shudders at home depot. We never even asked them to agreed to or wanted them to make shudders, we only wanted them install shudders and measure for what size we needed to buy. We agreed to pay for it hoping they would turn out alright, but as I said they were incompetent and ended up being extremely rude to us demanding money and taking all their stuff with them. Matt continued to complain about working for us because our house was out of his way and he didn't get good cell phone service. He knew where we lived from the moment he started, and we gave him our wifi password for cell service. He continued to harass me and ask me to go running with him alone when I already told him I wasn't comfortable with that. He ended up bringing religion into it, mixing church with business, and ended up claiming some pretty fantastic things. I believe this man and his business here, is a charity case for anyone who gets involved with him. After the incompetence and lack of professionalism and bipolar behavior and not showing up for the job half the time, I would like warn anyone else from working with him.
We worked at the ***s from May 1st to May 26th. 10 days with 6 workers. We had a draftsman prepare plans for remodel. Changed the scope daily. 3 different trips. We did lighting, shutters, rain gutter and planning for remodeling with HOA and the city. We asked for a signed contract. It was always tomorrow or after ***'s California trip. We received emails from *** agreeing to pay $ 1,400 for work done around the 24th of May. *** also left a check for around $ 400 when we picked up our supplies on the 26th of May. The shutters were used at another home. Perfect color finish with no jagged edges. Pictures available. Mrs *** says there was no agreement on shutters. see attached email from ***. This deal was with ***. *** was no part of negotiations. see attachment where *** agrees to $ 1,400. So many lies. We were not paid $ 3,000 and the amount disputed is not $ 25,000. Typos could be the case , not lies in spelling of shutters ( shudders ) or stain ( dtasin ). I'm incompetent. Our business does $ 500,000 yearly since 1987 and we have an a plus rating with Revdex.com. I am asking for an apology regarding my bi polar and mental unstable status. I have no diagnosis. This is slander and defamation of character. I asked this to be dismissed based on evidence I presented. Ask the ***s to show proof of payment. It is close to $ 1,800 and *** and I had an agreement as well as obligation of the drawer upon signing the checks. There was so much wasted time changing plans, no shows, etc since payment lowered and completion not allowed. There was no harassment. I have all texts saved from running conversation from 17 to 20 May 2018. In conclusion, I have raised 10 children, paid $ 500000 in childs support. I am a veteran and I do my best to be honest. I trusted the ***s without a contract. I apologize for any misunderstandings and I again ask for this to be dismissed as there is no contract with *** and all final agreements were accepted with her Husband *** as seen in attachments.
