Give me a call if you have a second [redacted] ok NOV 5TH, 1:18AM Hi John I was cleaning my guitar with [redacted] guitar polish & part of the serial # rubbed off [redacted] contacted [redacted] & they said Hello ***, Thanks for sending the pictures The [redacted] Standard that you purchased is a real [redacted] guitar The reason it has a sticker with a serial number, instead of the serial being stamped on the headstock of the guitar, is because the guitar was sold to the dealer as an “Used” guitar This is why “Used” is stamped on the headstock of the guitar now The dealer refurbished the guitar and then sold the guitar through their own sales network The serial number was placed on the guitar by the dealer you purchased from, that’s why [redacted] has no record of the serial number Also, the guitar does not have an [redacted] warranty, but the guitar is a real [redacted] Thanks, [redacted] Customer Service [redacted] Brands1-800-[redacted] I'm not feeling I got a deal intend on doing my own work & it gave me a feeling that maybe there's an issue with itIf I ever go to sell this I'm going to take a big hit because it's stamped used [redacted] sent me another reply & said: Hello ***, The warranty would’ve covered any defects in workmanship and material for the life of the guitar as long as you (the original purchaser) owned the guitar It would’ve also covered the electronics in the guitar for year It’s safe to use the [redacted] guitar polish on the guitar The serial number that’s on the guitar is likely what the dealer used to keep track if the guitar in their inventory, that serial number has no association to [redacted] at all Once that guitar has been stamped “Used” by [redacted] , it’s considered a 2nd hand guitarWhich it’s no longer bound to [redacted] ’s inventory records or warranty policyThanks for contacting us, [redacted] Customer Service [redacted] Brands1-800-[redacted] None of this was disclosed to me at the time of sale which You NEVER disclosed this info! I still DON'T why it's stamped USED! "So when you see a USED stamp on the back of the headstock and a little white or bronze sticker with a black number covering the original serial number that's been altered or partial removed, you'll know it's more than likely a [redacted] guitar and you are entitled to know the history of that guitar, prior to purchaseThe [redacted] dealers that I've done business with have no problems disclosing to me the nature of the [redacted] history if any and also to confirm that it was a [redacted] quality processed guitarI will NOT leave this go! I would NEVER have bought this for this price END of story! [redacted] gets these guitars at a STEEP Discount & so do you! I got SCREWED! The pickup was scratched when I bought it from you! I did NOT scratch it! I will make it my job to let EVERYONE know what kind of guitars your selling! That is NOT a low price I paid through the nose for which I thought I was getting a NEW guitar! When these guitar are stamped USED the resell value is NOT good! I have your statement in black & white you can't do better on the price you looked at the numbers! You did NOT come down on the price! You held strong & I paid up for USED! You know what was the issue with these guitar! You sold hard case because that has a small tear! I could of kept the [redacted] from [redacted] for $but NO I gave you the business so don't bring that up! Why was my Dad brought into this? Why should I bring anyone into this? You held info from me that should have been disclosed at time of sale! That quote about [redacted] is from a website I found! I compiling info to support my case! Instead of being on your cell & paying attention to your child while trying to run a business would be a excellent start on better customer care!

I compiling info to support my case!Instead of being on your cell & paying attention to your child while trying to run a business would be a excellent start on better customer care!

I am rejecting this response because:
I was RIPPED off & the IMPORTANT info was NOT disclose to me so I could make an educated decision to purchase or not!
As you will see I will prove John is a liar & likes to turn words around to suit himI enclosed a complete screen print from ***'s pm's with dates & time on exactly what & when things happened with John, ***'s emails, a closeup picture of the dry fretboard with white spots deep in the grain, a full picture of the guitar, a picture of what the ***serial # looks like on the back headstock on my guitar & on another guitar that is on *** httD://***web.com/ & clearly shows where this guitar comes from (Mine did NOTcome with the certificate like in their picture), a URL for *** websiteJohn failed to mention how during checkout he kept watching his security monitor for the cameras outside &was not paying full attention once again & after a question was asked John said what? And then explained he has problems with his neighbors & he that spit in his neighbors face &threatened her boyfriend which the State Police had to be called so he likes to keep watch so they don't do anythingHe stated at that time he takes anti-depressant medication &suffers from anger bouts because of the meds which is the main reason I don't want to go over there at least not without the police!I would like to address the following in John's statement:
I did NOT know of ANY flaws with the guitar I purchased from him on 10/23/My wife stated in John's shop to me you are buying a NEW guitar several times because I was so reluctant to spend that much money because I just bought her a *** *** *** Standard for $149,For me to save such a little amount of money & give up a "Lifetime Warranty"? I would NOT do so knowing it's a USED guitar & being it's stamped USED it deceased the the value so much NO ONE would want to buy it! I would of bought from *** *** for $that is brand new & comes with a full *** warranty!
After mentioning I saw John was having a sale for guitars he was selling at $John explained he sometimes gets guitars that he can sell cheaper because they're rejects the have a nick or something small wrong with them I The guitar I bought was NOT this easel *** told me this guitar could have had a cracked neck, bad electronics, a bad truss rod (which John got VERY demanding with his tech that I DON'T mess with the truss rod because it could be stuck or froze)John's tech argued every musician should know how to set their guitar up! This gives me yet another reason to worry about this guitar! *** said they were sick of people raiding their dumpsters for these rejects &started selling them to companies like *** & is the reason it was sold off & no longer covered by *** because it didn't meet their standard! This guitar I bought was NOT one of them according to John at the time of sale hence is why he could NOT come down on the price!Yes there is stuff wrong with this guitar I purchased from Yin Yang Music that his tech & I talked aboutThe fretboard was dry & has white spots deep in the grain, the finish is lightly rubbed off in places that you can only see in good light, the one humbucker is slightly scuffedThings you could not see in his poor lightingI found out that *** htto://***web.com/ is a company that refurb's these guitars & discloses to the dealers they sell to & what was wrong with guitars &that info is suppose to be passed on the the consumer! I believe this guitar came from them because they use the same sticker & the same first numbers on their serial #'sI tried several times to contact *** but they will NOT respond since I'm not a dealer! John held this info from me!
As you will see from the screen shots in the pm's John was told I changed the humbuckers/pickups out a number of times during our *** conversation but did NOT pay attention as usual because he's busy checking *** on his phone NOT talking business as he states! And as far as his child goes John is in business I think a baby sitter is in order here so he can run the business like a business & NOT a daycare center! I'm not saying his child isn't or shouldn't be important but when your in business & open you should run you business! His child & phone were NOT priority when I was looking to buy a guitar but when there was problems & concerns that's when customer service went out the door with the exception of the securitymonitor for outside!
John some how can't understand I had an *** hardshell case which I bought for $& change from *** *** that fit the guitar I bought from John! I did NOT need his case but told him I would return the case to *** *** & buy everything from him being I thought I was getting a good deal for a NEW guitar! John also stated the ONLY reason he could sell the case under cost was because it has some scuff marks & a little tearSo if the case didn't have a tear why would he sell under cost when he wouldn't move on the guitar? My guess he knew I'd see the scuffs &tear with the caseAs for the guitar how would I know? You can't read the stamping USED! *** had to tell meAs for the defects with the finish you really have to look! The white spots John passed off as polish*** said no it's not polish & could be part of the reason it was a reject!
In closing after filing with the Revdex.com John first offered a return with 10% restocking fee then offered a full refund but I am VERY concerned about going over there as I told him because of what he told me about his neighbor & his anger, in the second pm on *** when I brought this problem to John, John right away states: "He's not go to get upset"Why should he? He didn't get taken on the purchase! I did! John FINALLY heard me that I changed the humbuckers after he said in his pm "Just bring everything over right now"! I told him I needed to change the humbuckers first! Then he stated "You changed the humbuckers? This changes everything" & left it at that! The next morning John replied & states "I'm waiting for your answer"! Then replies a few hours later "I want my stuff back"! "When are you coming over"? "I want my tech to look over it to make sure you did the work right"! Then changes everything around AGAIN &says "I'll even meet your Dad in *** at the Turkey Hill"Why is my Dad being involved? This adds to my concerns on what John's real intentions are here! John also stated he wants everything backI bought the guitar & case separate as it shows on the invoiceI should NOT have to give the case back as it did NOT come with the guitar & my problem is NOT with the case it's with the USED guitar!
The money I'm asking for back is NOT for new humbuckers/pickups it because I can buy a NEW guitar just like this for $at *** *** with a warranty which John's claims they changed their price! I guess ***, *** *** & everyone else changes theirs too in such a short time! My new huckerbuckers cost much more then $so John's statement is wrong! Humbuckers are the first thing a musician changes out on a guitar including $3,000.00 ones because the stock ones don't cut it!
He ripped me off by selling me a USED guitar & NOT disclosing this IMPORTANT info to me! I would have walked away & bought from *** *** or somewhere else knowing this! Why would I spend my time & pay more money for new strings after replacing humbuckers knowing this was a USED guitar! If John wants to insist he disclosed this info to me at time of sale then why am I trying to contact *** to see what the problem was with this guitar? Why would I pay top dollar knowing when I sell it NO ONE will want to buy it because of the USED stamp on the head stock? The answer is simple! Because I didn't know this IMPORTANT info & now am stuck with a USED guitar that I OVER paid for with NO Lifetime *** warranty!Regards,

new guitar that the company rejects for whatever reason and the agreement they have with the other company is they have to be stamped used to void the limited lifetime warranty.  I sold him the guitar for less who complains about getting a lower price which was 354.18 plus tax 379. and a guitar case I sold below my cost which was not ripped. There was nothing wrong with the guitar. he keeps mentioning stuff my tech was saying , he was talking about was his Other guitar he brought in as in a dry neck.I'm just going to included the full conversation . I'm not giving him a 125 dollars because he decided he wanted to change out the pickups and didn't mention that till weeks later. I tried to offer many options for a full refund.  But after he kept messaging me telling maybe I should stay off the phone when I was talking to another customer as he talked to my tech about his OTHER guitar and telling me I shouldn't be taking care of my child?. sorry but my children will always come first. Thats just plain ignorant.  I did all I could to try and please this guy. with a full refund.  I'm not offering anything anymore. I'm not giving him 125 dollars to pay for his pickups that HE CHOOSE to change out. Me is my return message to him.Thank you johnHi John weren't you able to get a chance to get a price & a picture of the left handed [redacted]? I got an LP 100 for a great deal with a hard case but I don't like the thinner body or the 700 & 650 [redacted]. But I start looking around I'd like to see what you could do.beforeOCT 23RD, 3:53PM  ME--Sorry [redacted] I can't move on the price of that guitar. I just looked at the numbersOCT 23RD, 8:52PMThank you again, it was nice meeting you and your wife.OCT 23RD, 10:51PMHi John we're thinking the same  I was going to pm you & thank you! It was nice meeting you & your son! I'm trying the guitar out now. It sounds much better & looks like it's built much better.OCT 25TH, 8:54PMHi John I wanted to know how much some cream colored [redacted] (without the cover) about the same quality are for the [redacted] standard I bought off you? Also do you have any longer screws for the plastic around the [redacted]? Seems the factory striped mine. I noticed a gap between the body & the plastic & tried tightening slightly but won't tighten up.  ME--I can fix the screws [redacted] not a problem. I'll look into the pickups for you.Oh cool! Thanks! I'd like to make it look a bit like [redacted] black [redacted] smile emoticonOCT 25TH, 10:40PMJohn do you have another hard case for $55 like mine? Just thought I'd ask. The only inexpensive [redacted] I found with tan were the [redacted]. How will you be able to get the stripped screws tightened up? longer ones?is it the pickup ing or height adjustment on the pickup? if its te pickup not sure how they would strip. It's the screws that hold down the plastic around the pickups that screw into the wood.  ME--That should be an easy fixOCT 26TH, 4:11PM  ME--bring it in when you have a chance .OCT 26TH, 5:27PMHi John I stopped at [redacted]'s on my way home & picked up some #4 x 3/4 stainless for the bridge & #4 x 1/2" for the neck.John did you see how much the [redacted] brigde & Neck tan humbucker pickups are?cream  ME--Not yet [redacted]okOCT 27TH, 6:45PM  ME--Still trying to find prices for the pickips  ME--What brand .or type like burst buckersOCT 27TH, 9:11PM[redacted] like what comes with the ** 100 that has the cream color bobbins. I thought [redacted] was the name?  ME--No its a type.Oh. I don't know but they are like this. I found them on [redacted]. [redacted]OCT 28TH, 4:18PM  ME--i dont know if they are real or not but its not a bad priceI called [redacted] & talked to them. I asked if they were real & who makes them. They said they don't know either & they don't sell them. I asked if I had the Classic in my Standard but they were unable to tell me they said my guitar is a refurb with that serial # & color of sticker. They said the og one was removed because it didn't pass inspection because of one thing or another. That explains the screw mishap. Happy Birthday I hope you have a good day!Give me a call if you have a second. [redacted]okNOV 5TH, 1:18AMHi John I was cleaning my guitar with [redacted] guitar polish & part of the serial # rubbed off. [redacted] contacted [redacted] & they said. Hello [redacted],Thanks for sending the pictures.  The [redacted] Standard that you purchased is a real [redacted] guitar.  The reason it has a sticker with a serial number, instead of the serial being stamped on the headstock of the guitar, is because the guitar was sold to the dealer as an “Used” guitar.  This is why “Used” is stamped on the headstock of the guitar now.  The dealer refurbished the guitar and then sold the guitar through their own sales network.  The serial number was placed on the guitar by the dealer you purchased from, that’s why [redacted] has no record of the serial number.    Also, the guitar does not have an [redacted] warranty, but the guitar is a real [redacted]. Thanks,[redacted]Customer Service[redacted] Brands.1-800-4[redacted] I'm not feeling I got a deal after paying $379.00 & now finding out the same left handed guitar new cost $414.00 with a warranty.I understand you said sometimes you get guitar with a little something wrong but I don't recall you saying that about this one & for a $34 savings. That's not much.NOV 5TH, 3:46AM  ME--[redacted] I told you everything about the guitar up front.  Prices change on everything all the time. If I worried about the price of something after I bought it and checked I would go insane.. You saved almost 56 dollars. They charge sales tax on top of that. I included that. I sold you a hardshell case below my cost. Trying to help you out. I also told you if you had any problems bring it in. So I did give you a warranty . You had a screw issue on the pickup ring you choose to fix it yourself. My tech sat there for over an hour speaking with and going over your guitar explaining things about it, plus looked at your other guitar at no charge. Bench time is 65 dollars an hour. Plus offered to adjust your neck at no charge. Nobody does that for free because it is a risk. Because we're one of the best at taking care of fixing issues people bring there musical gear here. I also called kns to put your mind at ease. Over a guitar you took back. So you didnt worry. So in closing I don't  feel your being very fair on saying you only save d 34 dollars thats not true. I offered and gave you more then they or anybody else ever would.NOV 5TH, 3:36PMJohn when I first bought it I looked it up & it was $414 on [redacted] & [redacted]. You never said it was used or stamped used. I did have a hard shell case [redacted] from [redacted] for $52.00 & you made the comment you don't know how they did that price. I figured I'd return it & give you the business since I was buying the guitar from you. I appreciated you calling them. You said you charge me $10 for a neck adjustment. Your right on the tax. And for that I'm wrong. But you tech said the finger board is dry & after I used the lemon oil on the fret board it didn't take the white out of the wood grain. I treated it twice. I like to learn & do my own work so I don't have to pay anyone as I did with computer repair. in the beginning of the message he says he knows I mentioned flaws. which shows I said used.. later I tried to explain to him again. its a new guitar that the company rejects for whatever reason and the agreement they have with the other company is they have to be stamped used to void the limited lifetime warranty.  I sold him the guitar for less who complains about getting a lower price which was 354.18 plus tax 379. and a guitar case I sold below my cost which was not ripped.
There was nothing wrong with the guitar. he keeps mentioning stuff my tech was saying , he was talking about was his Other guitar he brought in as in a dry neck.
I'm just going to included the full conversation .
Me is my return message to him.
Thank you john
Hi John weren't you able to get a chance to get a price & a picture of the left handed [redacted]

ME--I tagged you in it yesterday
OCT 23RD, 12:47PM
I didn't get a chance to check my notifications. Thanks! That's really nice! I guess that doesn't come with a hard case though? I wish it was a $300 I'd take it!
Is there any room on this John?
ME--Let me look when I get back to the shop I'll message you
Ok I can stop by on my way back from [redacted]. I got an LP 100 for a great deal with a hard case but I don't like the thinner body or the 700 & 650 [redacted]. But I start looking around I'd like to see what you could do.

ME--Sorry [redacted] I can't move on the price of that guitar. I just looked at the numbers
OCT 23RD, 8:52PM
Thank you again, it was nice meeting you and your wife.
OCT 23RD, 10:51PM
Hi John we're thinking the same  I was going to pm you & thank you! It was nice meeting you & your son! I'm trying the guitar out now. It sounds much better & looks like it's built much better.
OCT 25TH, 8:54PM
Hi John I wanted to know how much some cream colored [redacted] (without the cover) about the same quality are for the [redacted] standard I bought off you? Also do you have any longer screws for the plastic around the [redacted]? Seems the factory striped mine. I noticed a gap between the body & the plastic & tried tightening slightly but won't tighten up.
ME--I can fix the screws [redacted] not a problem. I'll look into the pickups for you.
Oh cool! Thanks! I'd like to make it look a bit like [redacted] black [redacted] smile emoticon
OCT 25TH, 10:40PM
John do you have another hard case for $55 like mine? I'm looking at [redacted]'s & hers doesn't fit as tight as mine. I was concerned that might be bad & only have 2 days left to take hers back to [redacted].
OCT 26TH, 2:52AM
ME--That was the last one I had like that sorry
OCT 26TH, 10:39AM
ME--And I sold it below my cost.
OCT 26TH, 1:25PM
Oh ok. Just thought I'd ask. The only inexpensive [redacted] I found with tan were the [redacted]. How will you be able to get the stripped screws tightened up? longer ones?
is it the pickup ing or height adjustment on the pickup? if its te pickup not sure how they would strip.
It's the screws that hold down the plastic around the pickups that screw into the wood.
ME--That should be an easy fix
OCT 26TH, 4:11PM
ME--bring it in when you have a chance .
OCT 26TH, 5:27PM
Hi John I stopped at [redacted]'s on my way home & picked up some #4 x 3/4 stainless for the bridge & #4 x 1/2" for the neck.
John did you see how much the [redacted] brigde & Neck tan humbucker pickups are?
cream
  ME--Not yet [redacted]

OCT 27TH, 9:11PM
[redacted] like what comes with the ** 100 that has the cream color bobbins. I thought [redacted] was the name?
  ME--No its a type.
Oh. I don't know but they are like this. I found them on [redacted]
OCT 28TH, 4:18PM
ME--i dont know if they are real or not but its not a bad price
I called [redacted] & talked to them. Happy Birthday I hope you have a good day!
Give me a call if you have a second. [redacted]
ok
NOV 5TH, 1:18AM
Hi John I was cleaning my guitar with [redacted] guitar polish & part of the serial # rubbed off. [redacted] contacted [redacted] & they said.
Hello [redacted],
Thanks for sending the pictures.
Thanks,

I'm not feeling I got a deal after paying $379.00 & now finding out the same left handed guitar new cost $414.00 with a warranty.
I understand you said sometimes you get guitar with a little something wrong but I don't recall you saying that about this one & for a $34 savings. That's not much.
NOV 5TH, 3:46AM
ME--[redacted] I told you everything about the guitar up front. I offered and gave you more then they or anybody else ever would.
NOV 5TH, 3:36PM
John when I first bought it I looked it up & it was $414 on [redacted] & [redacted]. I'm concerned also about the comment your tech mentioned if the truss rod is stuck & it breaks you guys will pay for it. I intend on doing my own work & it gave me a feeling that maybe there's an issue with it. If I ever go to sell this I'm going to take a big hit because it's stamped used. You know what was the issue with these guitar! You sold hard case because that has a small tear! I could of kept the [redacted] from [redacted] for $52 but NO I gave you the business so don't bring that up!
