4USD is for the gas, for the car, we do not keep it

Awhile back I wrote ID ***Today I recieved another reply from the restaurantIt said "Delivery is new to our business" just so you know I have been getting delivery from their business since December 28, and that was the first day I moved to Columbus, Ohio from Eastern IowaSo Delivery cant be that "new" to their businessJust another way that business is trying to lie to make it seem like they aren't doing something wrongI am an extremely honest person and I feel I have been lied to by them for over two years and when I dispute it they come back and lie againIt REALLY makes me wonder how truthfull ANY of the other things they have told me are as well. Thank you for your help in this matter,

because most time the tip can not cover what they work here, we pay they more by hourly?

This is in regards to complaint ID *** against Ying's Tea House & Yum-Yum
I wrote the complaint about them several weeks ago
and they recently responded saying the reason they keep the Restaurant keeps the tips from anyone who leaves tip on the website is "because most time the tip can not cover what they work here, we pay they more by hourly?" My response to that is that they need to Make it VERY CLEAR ON THE WEBSITE THAT TIPS DO NOT GO TO THE PERSON DELIVERING THE FOOD UNLESS YOU GIVE IT TO THEM IN CASH(they are allowed to keep cash tips just not when it is added to a purchase on a debit/credit card)When you leave someone a tip you assume it is going to the deliving the foodIt would be fine if they took a percentage of tips every night, but that would be like going out to eat and a dinning establishment keeping ALL SERVERS TIPSThat is simply ludacrious No one who leaves their wait staff a tip belives it goes to anyone except the person waiting on themSure many places have waitstaff give a percentage to the kitchen/bar, some even split total tips between waitstaff, but if customers knew a restaurant tips I'm pretty sure they would lose buisness pretty fastI've spent HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS at this place of the past couple of years and now I've found out a good portion of that money that was in tips didnt even go to the person I was tippingIt needs to be EXTREMELY CLEAR if you want to tip your delivery person you have to do so IN CASHThank you for you time
Have a good day,

*Delivery is new to our business
*We have been operating with the decision that there has not yet been enough delivery business to warrant a full positionTherefore, the business owners have made the majority of deliveries
*Recently several employees, hired to do other jobs, were temporarily sent on deliveries due to the absence of ownerEmployees sent made wages higher than a delivery driver position.
*We are currently working on filling a permanent position for a delivery driver that will include wage and tips to the driver, as well as delivery fee to the driver if driver provides his own vehicle for restaurant delivery
*We apologize for any confusion to the customer
