Attached you will find the deal worksheet and “We Owe” forms that were used in *** *** purchase of a GMC HD Denali. The dealership promised to put step bars and a tire on the truck for *** ***. The “We Owe” form clearly states this and is signed by our finance
manager and *** ***. When *** *** brought the Denali back to get the steps and tire put on the truck he mentioned to his salesperson, Mike ***, that there was some scuffs in the front and rear bumper. Sam Pierce Chevrolet agreed to fix the scuffs even though it was not mentioned before the purchase or on the “We Owe” form. After *** *** picked up the Denali, he called back in because one of the rear park assist sensors was not working properly. He brought the vehicle back in and it was determined that the sensor was damaged when the rear bumper was repaired. Sam Pierce Chevrolet agreed to fix the sensor since it was damaged during the repairs done at the dealership. When the sensor was being repaired is when the “large dent in the front passenger side fender” was mentioned. *** *** called the dealership and wanted Sam Pierce Chevrolet to repair the dent, which the dealership was not obligated to do. After speaking with *** *** about fixing the dent at the dealership cost he responded that he was going to get it fixed at another body shop. We are sorry that *** *** felt our customer service was “terrible”. Since the owner MrSam P*** is a veteran, we do value the men and women who have served our country and treat them with the utmost respect, for *** *** to say otherwise is insulting. As you can see, Sam Pierce Chevrolet went over and above what was originally promised when the GMC HD Denali was initially purchased. Please feel free to call if there are any further questions Thank you, David Garber Used Car Manager Sam Pierce Chevrolet 765-378-

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Clearly Sam P[redacted] isn't going to fix the dent.  They aren't even capable of getting a timely estimate at their own collision center.  None of these said events happened the way they did.
I should have gotten everything in writing, however I did not, certainly a lesson learned.  My IOU is different, and they clearly acknowledged other things verbally agreed to prior to purchase as they fixed several other short comings with the truck.  IE, the front bumper and back bumper.  They did these things because THEY SAID THEY WOULD.  I was also told when I picked the truck up on after the sensor had been fixed that it was "covered under warranty" because the sensor went bad.
It's discouraging as someone who would wear two uniforms if not for a disability that I would be taken advantage of, and then lied to.  Sam P[redacted] could at least check the facts before responding to a government agency.
$53,000 dollars for a truck, $640.00 ($42 and hour I was told) shouldn't be a problem.
Better yet, keep your fender, I've got the money, work on keeping your word.  And not insulting people who have actually worn a uniform, or two.
Regards,
[redacted]
