Complaint ID# [redacted] I am rejecting the response from Gross General Repair In their response they implicate the severe tire wear was due to "something" that happened when the tire damage occurredThe damage to the tire happened days prior to me taking it into Gross's to viewThe severe wear could only have happened over sometimeI can get statements from the folks that changed the tire, if necessaryBOTH tires had the severe wear I still contend that I SHOULD have been asked if I wanted the tires aligned when I had them installedWho knows, I could have "hit a curb" as they suggest, days before I had the new tires installedIf they only consider the tire wear whether to ask the customer if they wanted to add an alignment, that situation wouldn't give the mechanic the proper knowledge to make a competent decisionSo that reasoning adds fuel to my claim of incompetence Thank you for your time [redacted] June 19,

Dear Revdex.com In response to your letter dated 6/6/When we replaced the front tires on her vehicle the old tiresshowed no uneven or odd wearing problemsThey were just wore out from wear and tear, so there was no reason to advise her to have the vehicle alignedWhen she came in to show us the tire there was obvious damage to the tire and wheel from hitting something (most likely curb)I was going to lift the vehicle to check for damage but before I had the chance to ask her if that was what she wanted me to do she stormed out of the buildingI'm Sorry but I can not give her new tires.Sincerely Paul G

Dear Revdex.com In response to your letter dated 6/6/2016. When we replaced the front tires on her vehicle the old tiresshowed no uneven or odd wearing problems. They were just wore out from normal wear and tear, so there was no reason to advise her to have the vehicle aligned. When she came in to show us...

In their response they implicate the severe tire wear was due to "something" that happened when the tire damage occurred. The damage to the tire happened 2 days prior to me taking it into Gross's to view. The severe wear could only have happened over sometime. I can get statements from the folks that changed the tire, if necessary. BOTH tires had the severe wear.
I still contend that I SHOULD have been asked if I wanted the tires aligned when I had them installed. Who knows, I could have "hit a curb" as they suggest, days before I had the new tires installed. If they only consider the tire wear whether to ask the customer if they wanted to add an alignment, that situation wouldn't give the mechanic the proper knowledge to make a competent decision. So that reasoning adds fuel to my claim of incompetence.
Thank you for your time.
