Mr. [redacted] (Owner)
This has been frustrating, not Elites intent but based on the events and circumstances this is from my (customers) stand point.... a service was requested and not delivered at a suitable or reasonable amount of time. My parts were delivered for service December 24th. Delays were due to the following:
1st -was running out of film. (completed another bike with the same print)
2nd- not enough film and ran out of film (did not cover the entire tank). I picked up my parts the week of March 14th per your request due to the delays and was communicated to "You can make payment when you pick up the tank".
3rd - Elite communicated to the me tank would be completed on March 25th by 10AM. I showed around noon. At the time of pick up I noticed the print was darker, imperfections (wrinkles and spots) was in the paint. [redacted] then communicated to me two options 1. to paint the tank gold and bring it back after the riding season and 2. take the tank as is and bring everything back after the print comes in for a re-do. I communicated that none of these options was acceptable (labor involved and partial paint job). I paid to have all my parts done and would not ride with a partial completed job. [redacted] then asked me to bring all my parts back in which were installed on my bike to get re-done with the darker print. I in-turn returned the parts prior to 3PM that day due to Good Friday because you communicated to me you may close at that time. At that time the expectation was to re-do all parts with the darker print therefore care was not taken on the disassemble and parts endured surface scratches.I

March 29th I stopped by the shop around noon to see what was going on after I received communication "
Hi [redacted],

I got the pic you sent and we are dipping it as a single unit. TWN said they had some of the lighter print and are sending it. It should arrive by Thursday according to UPS Tracker.

[redacted] or I will call you as soon as it arrives, I'll forward you pics of the tanks progress - Still stripping it - primer, by the end of the day.

I expressed my concern on the disassemble and labor associated with taking the parts off the bike to get redone due to the print contrast and was very dissatisfied from a customer stance on the progression and communication. As a customer I have no control of what happens on the business end and have only complied with what Elite requested from my end.

Major concerns I have now on both scenarios.
1) Using the print for the tank the print company found in their archives. (ensuring it's the same and scratches due to dissemble as requested by Elite to bring parts back)
2) Delay on having all parts redone in the darker print till take this project into 4 months of process.
3) Integrity on completing the job in good standing.

All this being communicated I need to know exactly what is going to be done and what the expectations are going to be. I would like a clear solid path on how we will proceed on cost, services and delivery.

[redacted] let me know when you have some time to discuss how we will proceed moving forward.

I ended up taking my parts to another company to paint... 4 month down the drain.
