To  whom it  may concern:     It  greatly concerns  me, when a customer, makes  several  false  statements, and  defames the business  and  also  my  workers,   The facts are, the furnace was working,  when we last left...

her home,, they were told any more problems, call us right away,  we are working in blizzard  conditions,  the fact is she came home at  5pm that day, and noticed the bottom door  was left  off the furnace. This is a error on  our  part.  So the bottom line is the furnace had worked all  day,  it was 70 degrees in the house,  then she puts the door back on the furnace.  So  at  950pm  that nite  almost  5 hrs. later.  she  calls and wakes me up from a sound sleep  to tell me that her  furnace is not working,  please note I was very sick with the flu, and had been up working since  5am  that morning,  i  explain  to her how to re start the furnace and to call me back in 10- 15 mins,  which she failed to do, I called her back,  and she told me  that it did  not work, and that she called some one else, I then  advised her  to have them call me back and that I would  discount  her out standing balance on her account.  Please note,  that  the firm she called,  took that call at  10  pm,  so that raises the issue, did  she ever attempt to get her furnace  back to working????  half  hr later, the firm that she called, returned my call, advised me that there was a   4in x 8 in  metal piece  missing on her blower assembly, I told them to bill me on all work done, and to make up a  temp  piece, which I further  told them I doubted that the missing piece would have any thing to do with the furnace not working correctly,  and it fact,  noted in there work ticket it did not  affect  the furnace operation, and that after they made the  temp piece, it did not  fix the problem,  and that she had a defective  high limit, which they replaced and adjusted the gas pressure,  and the furnace was operational, and she had heat,  i  paid the firm she called,  over  $230.00  for all the repairs, I also  ordered the missing metal piece  from carrier, and was special  order, took over a wk to get the part, At that time I sent my senior  tech with  30 yrs of service to install  the missing piece to be sure, that there we no more mistakes.  And  all the issues  were handled,  As far as the  180.00  bill   that she owed me,  that is forgiven,  and this whole  issue  has long been taked care of. I called in asking for someone to explain a bill that was given to my parent and was rudely hung up on. Before I could even ask a question, I was told that the bill stands. He was not nice about it all. All I was needing was an explaination as to why they charged my elderly parent so much for a simple job. Customer service is HORRIBLE here and I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone.
