The customer in question did in fact request the mulching which was doneShe accosted my foreman on a job which we were working on in close proximity to her homeMy foreman, another employee, and a third party are witness to thisAlso, if there was no discussion of this job, the complainant was home while the work was being doneShe actually spoke to my foreman again at this timeNot only is she refusing payment, but when we spoke last, and I attempted to resolve the situation, she became very short and rudeAt the very least, I think that I am owed a thank you and kind regards for doing what she claims was free work done at her home which admittedly went above and beyond any contractual obligations my company had with her husband

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am sorry for my inaccurate account of the total of the landscaping I included the removal of trees in my yard, which was not done by MrYoderOn the day that the company came and removed the dead plants (after I filed the complaint), I was given instructions on how to care for the ones that had died We now know how to properly care for our investment and have been working very hard at making it stay as beautiful as it was when the work was done Fortunately our development has another lawn service for regular summer care that has been giving me advice on what I should do to keep my lawn as good as it was since I was never able to get in contact with MrYoder with my questionsI am happy that MrYoder received more business based on the appearance of our yard Now that we have had proper instructions, I can guarantee that the lawn will remain an enhancement to the neighborhood in general and to our property in particular, which, hopefully, will lead to more business for him This was our intent from the beginning My husband was the one who signed the contract for the service, but by the time the service was performed, we had married MrYoder and I sat down together and discussed the diagram of the job I sent him photos of what I wanted in the yard I wrote the checks for all the work on MY bank account My husband's name was not on the check As I read the business's response, my understanding is that they plan to bill me for them coming to my home and mulching my landscaping This service was not requested nor was it approved; therefore I do not plan to pay for it.In summary, this lawn care service has completed the necessary steps to satisfy my complaint I had mentioned that I wanted to speak to them about a regular lawn maintenance schedule, but I have enlisted the services of another company My only objection to MrYoder's response is that I do not plan to pay for a service (mulching) that was neither requested or approved Once again, thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.Regards, [redacted]

First of all, the job in question cost $We installed shrubs, ripped out old ones, installed turf, and mulched the propertyThe cost was not
what the homeowner claimedSecondly, I did not have a contract with the claimantThe contract was with Mr*** ***When he called me, I returned his call, detailing that I had several family crises with which I was dealing withI also detailed that the plants were doing fine and that I had been out several times, as well as fertilized and treated insect issuesThirdly, the project had held up very wellThere were two dead shrubswhich we replaced, and the mums which are biannual had not come upWe also replaced thoseMy foreman spoke with the now Mrs*** and explained to her correct watering of said shrubs, as we are having drought conditionsFourthly, we mulched the entire property, which was not in the original contractAs obviously upset as this customer was, her information was incorrectI think it is a shame that she has nothing good to say about the job done at her house or my company, when my company has gotten more work because of this job's appearance, and I paid out of pocket for a $mulch jobI have lived up to the contract which is held by a third party, and after speaking with Mrs***, and making an effort to give her instruction, explaining my situation and that we were on top of the issuesI have not even been thanked, let alone had payment offered for extra services which she'd requestedThe invoice is outstanding

Revdex.com received a message from the business stating, They would send over their foreman to see if they could resolve the issue Yoder's Lawncare

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is not actually a rejection, but merely a clarification.  As my complaint readDesired Outcome/SettlementDesired Settlement: Contact by the businessI would like the company to come to my home and look over my landscaping with me and tell me how it should be cared for. This was never done. I would also like for them to tell me what I should expect each year with each of the plants. I would like the plants that appear to be dying to be replaced. I would like to discuss a service agreement where they come out regularly and treat my lawn. I would like to have a schedule that the company would follow with this service agreement. As you can see, I did not request the mulching be done.  My desired outcome was more communication.  On the day that they came to mulch, no one came to my door to explain what was being done or who was going to be responsible for it.  Communication has been a problem and continues to be one.  Nevertheless, my lawn is looking lovely now and my husband and I are seeing to it that it remains that way.  I regret that we had to go to such lengths to have our beautiful landscaping.  Mr. Yoder can be assured that we (my husband and I) are most appreciative for the services that he provided us, and we wish him well with his future business endeavors.  Regards,[redacted]

The customer in question did in fact request the mulching which was done. She accosted my foreman on a job which we were working on in close proximity to her home. My foreman, another employee, and a third party are witness to this. Also, if there was no discussion of this job, the complainant was home while the work was being done. She actually spoke to my foreman again at this time. Not only is she refusing payment, but when we spoke last, and I attempted to resolve the situation, she became very short and rude. At the very least, I think that I am owed a thank you and kind regards for doing what she claims was free work done at her home which admittedly went above and beyond any contractual obligations my company had with her husband.
