·         General Comments
Great program. Things could be more organized with a detailed
curriculum. It would be nice to know when we would discuss a book so everyone
could prepare at the same time to discuss it. Handouts for discussions and
visitor lectures would help. I'd like to leave with a page or two from the
guest lecturers summarizing the main points of their lecture.
We provide this feedback to note
that [redacted] didn’t leave any derogatory or otherwise emotionally charged
feedback as part of her evaluation, rather thoughtful constructive criticisms
to enhance the experience for future students.
[redacted] asked us to take remove
her evaluation so she could do it over again anonymously, but we do not allow
anonymous evaluations. So the only way that she could have registered with us
is by doing exactly what she now says she doesn't want to do -- completing a
non-anonymous evaluation of her RYS -- which approximately 9,000 yoga teachers have
done since we opened the new system in December.
We do provide a notice to all
teacher-evaluators that their evaluation and feedback is not anonymous, and
that it will be available to both the school and the public to read. That
notice is also provided on the mobile versions of our website.
[redacted] has been provided a refund of $55, her account marked as inactive and the school review has been deleted.

Review: I made an error in my review of a cherished business, and the Yoga Alliance refused to take down or have their web developers post my corrected response. Then they refuse to let me post an additional response. Their website and customer service policies are inadequate for today's web standards. They refused to accommodate my request as a member who paid $100 to participate. Then, their management refused to return my call as promised.Desired Settlement: They need to fix the post so that it reflects my appropriate opinion of the business and they need to update the functions of their website to match today's standards, so as not to fool future participants that assume they have functions that are now considered basic.

Review: I just joined the Yoga Alliance as a new yoga teacher. I have been trying to join since December but they have been revamping their website. I finally was able to register and pay my $100. But your registration is not complete until you fill out an evaluation of your yoga school, it is mandatory. So I quickly filled it out on my [redacted]. It was not made clear to me that it is not private, it is for the use of your yoga school. You do not get honest evaluations unless they are anonymous, for the most part! My evaluation was immediately posted online with my name on it. I asked them to take it down, I was not aware of how it would be used, and I will fill it out again. They replied to me through ** that my [redacted] may have prevented my being shown their policy before filling it out, but they still will not take it down!! I feel that this would be something very easy for them to do, to preserve my privacy and my relationship with my yoga teacher, but for some unknown reason, they won't do it.Desired Settlement: To delete my evaluation, and to allow me to redo it.
