Dear [redacted], We’re very sorry to hear your experience with us was not what you expected. We do strive to provide our campers...

with satisfying camping experiences, and our management team was under the impression you were satisfied with the conclusions we came to about the issues you encountered, prior to your departure. Your party was told upfront that there was in fact construction happening near your site, and that you would have a 10% discount on your reservation because of said construction. Although construction equipment was still located in the area of your campsite, we’d like you to know there would have been no construction activity during your weekend stay with us. After you had expressed your displeasure with that, our General Manager came to your site to discuss some options with you. Since we were at 100% capacity during the weekend you wished to stay with us, moving you to a different site was simply not an option. Other claims you have made in your complaint are simply not true and we’d like to address those concerns. In response to your concern about the smoke you observed, it was absolutely not coming from inside a garbage dumpster. After cleaning a campsite, one of our employees emptied ashes out of a fire ring near one of our garbage dumpsters. The ashes were still smoldering slightly, creating smoke, and were absolutely not used to ignite tires, garbage, or brush of any sort. The ashes should not have caused an air quality issue any more than being near campfires as usual. This was communicated to you while you were here by our General Manager. This garbage dumpster is also in a restricted area, set away from the nearby campsites, as to not disrupt any of our campers. As you were severely upset about the campsite you had booked, and we were not able to move you to a different site, we offered a full refund if you wanted to leave. The full reimbursement our General Manager offered to you is beyond the parameters of our normal cancellation policy. Since this was the option you accepted, we were under the impression this was satisfactory to you. We hope you’ll accept our sincerest apologies. -The Management Team at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-[redacted]

Review: on July **, 2015 my family had a reservations to Yogi Bear Jellystone in [redacted] camp ground. We arrived at the site around 4:30 PM , we were escorted to the site and we were very surprised to find that the camp ground is under heavy construction. There were hills and hills of dirt piled up all over by our assigned camp site. They were holes all over the road. they were burning Rubber tires and all sorts of un noun garbage debris into a big garbage dumpster. The burning smoke was unbearable causing health issues. There was no lavatory in this particular site and no shower room all this is located to the other site of the camp ground. We requested to be moved to another site and we emphasized to them that the site is not ready to be occupied. However, we were told that if we are not happy, we should just leave and go back home and they will give us a refund. We reminded them that we have a reservation and they should find a solution for us and give us a site far away from the construction area, but unfortunately, their answer was "lave our camp ground".

We do have pictures of the camp site. When we were making the reservation, we were told that they only have availability in the new construction site, but they never mentioned to us that the site is still under heavy constructions. This is very misleading and unfair to us.Desired Settlement: we where forced to drive back to our home after a total of 8 hours of traveling all day, all of our groceries in our cooler where spoiled gas tolls and our time where wasted with no compensations offered by this camp site

thank you to your response much different than what we receive when we first arrive at the camp site . I would like to say that I was one of your loyal supporters at your campsite over six years I been with you guys never once complain of anything . however renting a camp site in this condition exposes campers in much serious danger the site is not ready for occupancy ! open man holes are all over piles of construction debris where being burn in your dumpsters right beside my camper there are no bathrooms in this site one located at another site there are no safety or early warning signs or fence to prevent kids from falling a five to eight feet hight ditch . sanitation safety and cleanliness was not put in to consideration . when I made my reservations I was told that its a brand new camp ground I looked at the pictures on your website and it was not as what was describe . its deceitful and dis honest and on my opinion not the right way of making business . I have all the pictures to prove all this is true I wish to be re embers of my gas tall and all the food supplies waited during the trip its not only the right thing to do its also the fair thing to ask for .......
