Plus I witnessed one of the employees hanging the rule sheet across from counter after I made them aware that it was not postedMy wife was with me and she was the one that actually pointed that out , then there is the fact that the auctioneer announced the rules of arbitration before the sale started and they were nothing like the written policy This company is managed in the most unprofessional way and it is not acceptable by any standard I at least request that they return the $dollar fee that I was charged to buy this vehicle that is absolutely worthless

With every customer that attends an auto auction it is Important to be informed. There is a Policy Guide available at registration with How To Buy” pointers, a Light System Guide, Arbitration Policies and also stated within the guide is All vehicles with 100,000 miles or more...

must be sold "ASIS" regardless of the Light System. Relevant signage and auction clerks are available in the registration area for all customer care. -In this particular situation, the buyer spoke with the arbitrator and the general manager after purchasing the vehicle making his unease with his purchase known. The arbitrator explained, while the vehicle sold under green light, it did not meet Arbitration Guidelines due to the mileage of the vehicle. It was agreed to allow the vehicle to run a 2time since the auction was still in operation. The buyer declined said offer, completed the sale and registration of the vehicle with the auction clerks and departed with the vehicle in running Condition.A5 stated in the Policy Guide any buyer may contact the auction within 1 hour from purchase due to mechanical failure. Review: I purchased a vehicle on 6/9/2014 at this auction. I pre-registered but still had to wait hours for them to do my paperwork due to them not telling me there was an insurance issue when I registered. The auction had fax problems and I had return the next day. The fees were extreme to buy the car as was the notary fee. I picked the car up. Later I found the spare tire and jack had been taken as I had to leave the car there for the night. The car also had a bad battery and mega issues. I kept the car and told myself lessoned learned. Two days later I received a new pink slip from york auto auction saying they botched the first one and to thrown it away. Originally they had written my paperwork up for the wrong vehichle. But my complaint is in the auctions abuse of penn -dot rules concerning registrations and titles. I have bought cars privately before. I always received the registration and title in 7-21 days. It has been 8 weeks and I have yet to receive title nor registration. I called penn-dot and was told the auction routinely takes 2 months to submit the required paperwork to process tags or titles. The representative said once the penn-dot intake unit gets the paperwork it is processed in 2 days and title and tags mailed. I paid cash at the auction for the car and notary services and penn-dot transfers title work. It is wrong for this auction or it's messengers to not turn the paperwork over to penndot in a timely manner. I paid for a service and the auction should be obligated to do it's function penndot wise. Alot of poeople buy junk cars at auctions and a title is required to sell them. It is insult to injury not to get the title asap.Desired Settlement: I would like my purchase price and fees refunded. The extreme delay has caused me financial loss more than the price of the car and the fees they charged. I would also like them to submit my paperwork to penndot so that I may receive the title and tags.

Review: On June 16, 2014 my wife and I attended the York auto auction at 6:00 PM

After registering at the front counter the auctioneer announced that any vehicle purchase for the amount of $1500 or more that had a green light would be eligible to get looked at inspected thoroughly and if any major problems were found that it could be arbitrated after that the sale started in which after a few cars had gone down the line there was a vehicle that caught My eye and I placed a bid on it. after winning the bid on that vehicle they required a $500 deposit before going out to look at the vehicle after which I discovered a major engine malfunction when I made management aware of it they said that they have a policy that any vehicle with more than 100,000 miles cannot be arbitrated this was not something that they had posted or made me aware of before starting the auction. it was completely different from what the auctioneer had announced at the beginning. after going back and forth with the owner and the manager they said they were not going to do anything for me and that I was stuck with the purchase during that time my wife had witnessed one of the employees going and posting that rule sheet in the one office room across the front counter. We confronted them saying you guys just hung that rule sheet up there they denied doing so. This auction is ran very shady and there is a lot of fraud activity going on.Desired Settlement: I would want management and the owner of that company to not be able to operate a fraudulent business and take advantage of any other people in the future this is a scam operation and is just not fair to honest people who are trying to buy Vehicles for their families
