Review: I put two installments on two puppies in May 2013 as a present for my 13 year old daughter. The puppies were both around 3 weeks old and they could not go home until 12 weeks (August 2013). We were allowed to visit the puppies on Sunday's to bond with them. (This was a two hour ride one way and we went every other week to see them.) At 10 weeks, when I called to let [redacted] know that we would be coming she informed me that my female puppy had fell and died. She never thought to call or inform me. She stated that she had a new litter and that she could save another female for me, but they were just born and we would have to start the wait all over again. We went on Sunday to see this puppy and visit our male that we had money on. When we got there he was very sick and not doing well. My daughter was devastated. He too died the next day. She stated from "a broken heart." She again offered me another puppy to replace him from another new litter. When I discussed this with my daughter she was too upset and could not bear to go through this process again. I requested my money back at that point. To this day she has only sent me $300 of the $1100 I gave her. This incident was in 8/13 and I feel that I have been very patient. I did not violate my agreement or relinquish my deposit because I changed my mind, both of my puppies allegedly died. I was prepared to pay the balance of what I owed and bring my puppies home. She was not able to meet our agreement(there was no contract) and I am requesting the balance of my payments. I think that this is bad business, she refuses to give me my money back because she says I have bad Karma which killed the puppies". I have since bought two puppies from other breeders and they both are fine, but I am due the $800 left of my balance. Speaking to other families that have purchased from her, they have had similar issues. I am not sure if the puppies died or she sold them to others for a higher price. NO matter what, I am just looking for a refund $800.Desired Settlement: I would like her to refund my $800 that is due me. I have been very patient. She has had numerous excuses, like "I had to buy a new washing machine. I am getting a check next week..." There would be no excuses if I did not have the money to purchase the puppies. I am not at fault, I have been very patient and I just would like the $800 that is due me immediately. I have already waited 5 months and now she is stating she has no intention of refunding me my money.
