In response to MrY*** letter I state the following: As he stated he was not thereMarty told me the price of $1,for units at $a trip(this price was given after reviewing the units3. I was the only person shampooingI did this because I was waiting for them to return from lunchI did make the statment "It looks like the apple doesn't fall from the tree." After MrY*** said "If you had kept your mouth shut, they would have not left." I did follow all directions90% of all conversation was between Marty and IHe was the one threatening meI stand by my original statement

First, I would like to say I did not receive the first letter from the Revdex.com. This letter was mailed to my home address not my business address. I saw the letter in my office this past Friday and I responded the following work day which is Monday Aug.31, 2015. This is what I think happened with the...

[redacted] incident. I was not on the job site when either the inspection or treatment was performed. When we initially get a call for Bed Bugs, our office will give some information on the phone which probably is the most important to the caller on how much it's going to cost. We tell our customers before treatments are started; the minimum cost is $500.00 per unit, plus state tax. This is broken down with a $250.00 initial treatment and two other services at $125.00 per service. Each unit is done at approximately two week intervals. The reason for this is that it takes under good conditions; two weeks for the eggs to hatch. Now this is the starting price. If you doubt what I'm saying call my office and ask for a price for Bed Bug treating just like Mr. [redacted] did, 509-966-9776. The reason we inspect before we treat we want to make sure you really do have Bed Bugs and not another insect that could cost you considerably less to get under control. Or you may not even need a treatment with some insects. We also give a list, (preparation form) of things that the customer must be do prior to all the treatments. When we get at the job site we need all pets and people to either leave or at least go outside while the treatment is being performed. We have several pieces of equipment we bring into the house and we do not want the customer tripping over our equipment or tripping over us or us tripping over the customer. After all; these are pesticides we are using. This is all about safety. Bed Bug treating requires a systematic way of treating along with precise treating techniques. We must be concentrating on how and where we are treating. That is not the time or place for the customer to be asking question, we can do that before or after we are finished applying our products. Cooperation between the customer and our company will determine how well the treatment will work; so following these instructions is critical in the pest control field. We have had customers that the service was considerably more than $500.00. Usually because it's a very heavy infestation or the house will take longer because of all of the personal belongings, and clutter. I was off work that Friday that the boys treated [redacted] rental. Marty called me at home and told me what had happened with [redacted] and said he would probably be calling me. The following Tuesday when I got back to work August 18, I called [redacted] to try to get this incident worked out with him. When [redacted] told me his side of the story and the incident that had happened and what was stated with Marty I was shocked. We try to treat our customers with the upmost respect. Our goal is to keep customers for life. As [redacted] was telling me his story it was not consistent. He told me one thing at the beginning of our conversation and then later in the conversation he would change the story. I had to ask him which story was right. As he spoke with me I could tell he was becoming angry. When we concluded the conversation I did tell him that the treatment we did on the first two did stand. $500.00 plus tax. That is $250.00 per unit. The next day I talked to everyone in my company that was involved in this treatment, separately. The following is a list of important facts Mr. [redacted] did not bring up in his letter to you. Tyler called Mr [redacted] to let him know they were going to be late the day of the treatment. Tyler told me he was rude and surprised that Mr. [redacted] was so short with him when he called. I provide cell phones for all of my employees for this reason. You see when our customers are not ready for the treatments it throws off our schedule for the whole day. Don't misunderstand me sometimes being late is our fault. [redacted] told me we over booked that day and that was the reason we could not get the third unit treated. The day our secretary scheduled Mr. [redacted], she rescheduled another account on our books to get Mr. [redacted] moved to a sooner more convenient day to be accommodating to his needs. As the boys started treating they both told me Mr. [redacted] was also being verbally rude to his tenants, as he was to Tyler on the phone, being frustrated and flustered trying to finish up the prep work. The reason the boys went to lunch when they did was to give Mr. [redacted] time to finish the third unit. When they got back to the account the tenant was shampooing the carpet and not prepared. This was not even on our list of preparation anyway. This is when the conversation started to get heated and this is when everything went down- hill from there. You can read for yourself what the boys said in their own words, again I was not there. I do not believe Marty said what Mr. [redacted] said he said. The last thing Mr. [redacted] told me when we had our second conversation on August 20, was. "So, it looks like the apple don't fall far from the tree does it". I told him, "This is the end of our conversation" and hung up. Marty is my son and Tyler is my grandson. I do not expect anyone that works for me have to put up with rude or verbally abusive people. I think Mr. [redacted] probably talks down to a lot of people. But I will not be one of them. I do expect to be paid for the two units we treated. I have been a pest control operator for 44 years. I have owned my business in Yakima for 37 years. Please, check your records you will see nobody has ever filed a complaint against my company, because they are all happy with the service we provide. Had Mr. [redacted] followed our written directions (attached) and had everything ready this first service would have been completed it and have the next service scheduled.
