Please make note that we replace thermostat and he repaired the brakes at another  shop. I explain it to customer that repairing thermostat has nothing to do with brakes.

Review: Services provided for brake pad replacement was not completed. I took my truck in to have the brake pads replaced with a brand that exceed or meet OEM standards. All I had to pay for was labor. After picking up the truck I noticed an extremely loud squeal coming from my brakes when they are applied. Gary did mention it squeals a little and I didn't think anything of it until a was already close to home. Come to find out the squeal is not subtle, it was extremely loud and not normal. I gave it a day or two thinking it would subside and return to normal but it has not let up for three days now. So I called Gary and asked if they can inspect it because this is not normal based on research from other sources. Prior to purchasing the brand, I researched the manufacturer's website and other owners who have used this brand on their trucks (same model) and all have reported that such squealing is not normal. My conversation with Gary led me to this complaint. He will only help me if I buy a different brand and I pay him additional money to replace the new pads his shop put in. He did not offer to inspect the quality of his mechanics work or even try to determine what is causing the squeal. The brand that I bought for my vehicle exceeds or meets the OEM requirements. His resolution is for me to by a different brand at his local shop and charge me again to install the part. Purchasing a different brand does not make sense as both meet or exceed the OEM requirements.Desired Settlement: Refund of at least 50% of the cost since the job was not completed and not I have to spend additional money to get it fixed by a different mechanic.
