I could go into detail refuting this claim but I believe that this has become very personal for the complainant so I will simply tell you what was left out If you go to our website to make a reservation there are listed the terms and conditions which MUST be agreed to or you cannot submit the
reservation In her complaint she only quoted part of the terms and conditions that suited her complaint, not the entire thing These are not in fine print and are very obvious to those reserving There can be no doubt about not being informed when you have to agree before you can even submit the reservation I cannot address the phone call that wasn't returned, it's possible, but, she was given the $refund to her credit card within hours She then asked about the "good will gesture" which was a last resort before leaving some nasty reviews on Facebook, Tripadvisor.com and yourselves Also, I offered to FAX a copy of the reservation form she filled out and checked "I Agree" to the terms and conditions but I never heard back from her, just the reviews I am copying below from our website, www.yosemiteridge.com, the cancellation policy which must be agreed to before you can submit it: Reservation and Cancellation Policies: We will charge your credit card for the first night's stay in each cabin or RV site booked.Cancellations or changes to RV sites must be made at least days prior to arrival and will be refunded less a $administrative feeCancellations orchanges to a cabin reservation must be made at least days prior to arrival and will be refunded less a $administrative fee.Cancellations not made within the time limits indicated above will be subject to the deposit charge of the first night's stay
I am rejecting this response because: The business doesn't have clear communication on their website or email and it appears the business has updated the website to try to get around this complaint
