As stated in previous messages, this person was granted a return within his day warrantyHe was also given a free return shipping labelHe decided to use the phone for a few more months, and then return it for a refund long beyond his day warrantyInstead of flat out rejecting his return, we accepted it and charged the same fees seller fees we were charged by *** and *** for a return outside of the returns time periodThe customer tried to open a case with eBay, which they denied as his claims were without warrantHe then tried to open a case with ***, which they denied because his claims were without warrantDisgruntled by his own actions, he opened a Revdex.com case since all his other attempts at getting around the guidelines, to which he agreed, failedWe process abut 5,transactions a day and this would be our first Revdex.com case

The customer purchased an iPhone SE 01/**/17. This phone was sold on [redacted] and came with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. On January [redacted], the customer opened a return as he had changed his mind. He felt the phone was too small for him. The return was approved and a return shipping label was granted....

[redacted] allows the customer 7 days to get the phone in the mail before closing out the return. On 03/**/17 the phone was returned to us although the return was cancelled due to expiration of the return request. We did not return the phone to the customer, but instead refunded with a 20% restocking fee. These are the fees collected by [redacted] and [redacted] which cannot be refunded to us since the phone was returned by the buyer outside of the return time period. The customer first opened a case with eBay, which [redacted] denied as they deemed the as appropriate. He then opened a case with [redacted], which [redacted] denied as [redacted] also deemed our actions as appropriate. This is simply a person that is going against the agreement he agreed to when he click buy it now on eBay. The terms were given and in order to make the purchase, you must click that you agree to the terms. That being said, the customer has gone out of his way to avoid the terms and we went above and beyond to help settle the customer return.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The phone was accepted for return as it was defective. An Apple Store report is available showing the phone is defective and broken. The seller's terms clearly state that the restocking fee only applies to phones that are not defective. Although the seller did not need to accept the return after the 30-day window, they did, and it was for a clearly defective phone. Although [redacted] closed the complaint, the [redacted] complaint is still active and still being investigated despite the seller's claims otherwise. I am requesting a refund of the fees that the seller profited from by selling a defective phone. The customer who purchased the defective phone should not have to be out money when the seller sold something that was non-working.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
