I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowWhile I applaud the business' accurate reporting of the [redacted] news in paragraph one, he fell short when meeting his customers needs? He states that he helped his customers? Why then, when our street had been plowed on day two, did he tell us to get someone else to plow the driveway? Also, he failed to respond to my request for service on day three? Furthermore while checking local snowfall amounts, I only found 7-that met the three inch criteria, not We paid $for the snow removal service for the season? We entered this contract in good faith? We feel that he voided our contract by insisting that we get someone else to do the heavy, difficult snow removal work Regards, [redacted]

It was indeed the largest storm that we have seen in a long time with [redacted] and all surrounding areas being issued a state of emergencyWith that being said these were not conditions or something anyone was prepared to deal with, I did my very best to take care of all of my customersIt took the city of [redacted] two to three days after the storm to have all the streets cleaned and cleared with the exception of a few due to all the cars that were stuck, which in that case it took even longer for the streets to be clearedSome customers have driveways that were just not possible to plow with that much snow accumulation at such a rapid pace at 7inches per hourSo there for other arrangements were made, some houses I did with a snowblower and hauled away the snow for an extra charge being plowing was out of the question, and they understood it was impossible to plow and out of the agreed terms in the contractThese same options were given to them as well.It has come to my attention that this one particular customer demands a full refundThis particular property has been plowed times out the total snowfalls that accumulated 3+ inches, so a full refund sounds harsh and unfair, a prorated fee comes to $10, and I offered them a $refund because I did not want them thinking that I was taking advantage of them, which is definitely not the caseI take great pride in my business and always try to be more than fair with all of my customersThe reason I was unable to plow their driveway during the storm is because they have a shared driveway, if I pushed the snow sideways it would have destroyed the house causing damage, pushing the snow forward was not an option, and I couldn't pull that excessive amount of snow back causing it to be on the roadI would have gladly came several times during the storm to plow so that it didn't get to that point of such an excessive amount of snow, which I have done in the past during other stormsIn this particular storm as stated earlier the city roads were beyond horrible, and they had issued a travel banThere were many cars stuck and being left on the sides and/or in the middle of the roads making it impossible for anyone to travel including the city plows, I was stuck in [redacted] for almost hours trying to make it out because of the blocked roads and rapid snowfallTherefore with everything being said I believe a full refund would be beyond unreasonable and unfairSincerely, Selvedin S

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While I applaud the business' accurate reporting of the [redacted] news in paragraph one, he fell short when meeting his customers needs.  He states that he helped his customers.  Why then, when our street had been plowed on day two, did he tell us to get someone else to plow the driveway.  Also, he failed to respond to my request for service on day three.  Furthermore while checking local snowfall amounts, I only found 7-8 that met the three inch criteria, not 24. We paid $250 for the snow removal service for the season.  We entered this contract in good faith.  We feel that he voided our contract by insisting that we get someone else to do the heavy, difficult snow removal work.

It was indeed the largest storm that we have seen in a long time with [redacted] and all surrounding areas being issued a state of emergency. With that being said these were not normal conditions or something anyone was prepared to deal with, I did my very best to take care of all of my customers. It...

took the city of [redacted] two to three days after the storm to have all the streets cleaned and cleared with the exception of a few due to all the cars that were stuck, which in that case it took even longer for the streets to be cleared. Some customers have driveways that were just not possible to plow with that much snow accumulation at such a rapid pace at 7inches per hour. So there for other arrangements were made, some houses I did with a snowblower and hauled away the snow for an extra charge being plowing was out of the question, and they understood it was impossible to plow and out of the agreed terms in the contract. These same options were given to them as well.It has come to my attention that this one particular customer demands a full refund. This particular property has been plowed 24 times out the 25 total snowfalls that accumulated 3+ inches, so a full refund sounds harsh and unfair, a prorated fee comes to $10, and I offered them a $40 refund because I did not want them thinking that I was taking advantage of them, which is definitely not the case. I take great pride in my business and always try to be more than fair with all of my customers. The reason I was unable to plow their driveway during the storm is because they have a shared driveway, if I pushed the snow sideways it would have destroyed the house causing damage, pushing the snow forward was not an option, and I couldn't pull that excessive amount of snow back causing it to be on the road. I would have gladly came several times during the storm to plow so that it didn't get to that point of such an excessive amount of snow, which I have done in the past during other storms. In this particular storm as stated earlier the city roads were beyond horrible, and they had issued a travel ban. There were many cars stuck and being left on the sides and/or in the middle of the roads making it impossible for anyone to travel including the city plows, I was stuck in [redacted] for almost 3 hours trying to make it out because of the blocked roads and rapid snowfall. Therefore with everything being said I believe a full refund would be beyond unreasonable and unfair. Sincerely,  Selvedin S.

Review: I hired youcallwehaulNYC on May ** 2014 to move personal belongings, a mattress, a bed frame, as well as a dresser and large armoire ( Height:190cm x Depth:54cm x Width:131 cm). The contract with the company states for the rate I paid the following would be provided: 2 Movers, Van, use of bedbug free furniture pads, dollies, shrink wrap, tape & tools included power drill for speedy furniture assembly/dis assembly. Furniture pads were not used by the company to protect the furniture placed inside the elevator and the power drill noted in the contract was not used to transport the large dresser. The contract also states the move cannot be completed without an in person terms & conditions signed the day of the move. (That document was never presented and therefore not signed)

The 2 movers forced the dresser into the elevator damaging the wooden panel of the elevator. (Management at the building informed me they have a surveillance camera that recorded the movers forcefully jamming the furniture into the elevator - however they would not release this footage to me). The building that I was moving from is holding me responsible for the elevator damage amounting to $707. If the furniture pads were used, or if the furniture was dis-assembled as I anticipated it to be, the damage would have not occurred. I have sent numerous emails to the company and after calling from a restricted number I was told "You're on your own". I would like to receive a refund for the service I paid for based on the damages to my furniture and because the terms noted in the contract were not followed by the company. I paid $300+. I also would like for the moving company to cover the damages they caused by not following the terms stated in the agreement. If I had known furniture pads would NOT be provided and the large furniture would NOT be taken apart prior to placing it in the elevator, I certainly would not have allowed the move to proceed. I have the initial agreement, all emails sent, and the invoice from the building.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for the service I paid for based on the damages to my furniture and because the terms noted in the contract were not followed by the company. I paid $300+. I also would like for the moving company to cover the $707 in damages and repairs they caused by not following the terms stated in the agreement.

Review: I contracted this company to pick up, move and store my furniture on June **, 2013 and to deliver all items to my new location on August **, 2013. The items were picked up and stored in June, but when re-delivery was scheduled, the movers failed to appear on August **, and did not respond to calls or contact me until the next day on August ** to deliver. Most, but not all of the stored items were delivered on August **, 2013, but a living room chair and 2 metal bed slats were missing. The movers told me that they had seen the items in their wearhouse and would contact me the next day to deliver these missing items. I was not contacted over the next 2 days, and when I called and spoke to [redacted] at the front desk, I was advised that the items would be delivered and I would be contacted by a mover during that week. I was not contacted by You Haul We Haul that week or during the succeeding 4 weeks, and have still not received my stored items. I called repeatedly over the last 5 weeks and left messages. After 3 weeks I reached [redacted] on the phone, who told me that she had not received any messages, and that a mover would contact me on Sat, Sept **, 2013 to deliver the missing items. You Call We Haul did not contact me on that day or subsequently. I have called repeatedly over the last 2 weeks and left messages, but no one answers the phone or calls back. I would like to recover the my missing items that were stored by You Call We Haul. Furthermore, I paid in cash, as requested. No adjustment to the bill was made for the inconvenience of the delay of a day for delivery most of the items. Please note that the phone number listed on the Revdex.com form for this business is incorrect; the correct phone, listed on their website is: ###-###-####.Desired Settlement: Most importantly, I, [redacted], would like the remainder of my moved and stored items (a living room chair and 2 metal bed slats) delivered to me at [redacted]., [redacted]. I can be contacted directly at: ###-###-####. I would also like an credit adjustment on the August ** bill paid in cash for the inconvenience of delayed delivery (necessitating a night in hotel) and lack of response from the company.

At this time, I have not been contacted by You Call We Haul regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: During my move the movers broken a mirror that was hanging on the wall. The mirror was in no way part of the scheduled move and was damaged when the movers hit it with a couch. For nearly a month I have been trying to contact You Call We Haul regarding the situation and they have continued to ignore phone calls and e-mails. I have spoken to them only a couple times and they indicated they would get back to me later that same day. This has not been the case and instead I am left in the dark.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for the broken mirror. I have stated this from the beginning but have spent the last couple weeks being ignored.
