Review: We had a energy efficiency representative come to our home from LIPA now PSEG and recommend some work to be done to make our home more energy efficient. We agreed to do the work and the work was done by a company called You Save Green. They have completed the work and all monies have been paid to them. However my wife noticed that there was a big crack in the basement shower where one of the men had to install something right over the shower. She has spoken with multiple representatives, supervisors and [redacted] ([redacted]) and Renewable energy director ([redacted]) at You Save Green to no avail. [redacted] passed the buck to [redacted]. My wife spoke to [redacted] directly today and he denies causing the damage. After some pressing from my wife he admitted they did do the damage. But now he says we have to talk to [redacted]. So we are constantly getting the run around. She has emailed pictures of damage and sent numerous emails. This has been going on for weeks. We are looking for some help from you in order to expedite resolving this issue faster. We are not looking for a problem we just want them to fix the damage they have caused to our home.Desired Settlement: We would like the company to send their person to come fix the damage ASAP. It has been very inconvenient and our quality of life has been diminished because we have family from out of the country staying with us for a few months and we were relying on our second full bathroom to accommodate our house guest. Now this has caused a major dilemma for our family. This is utterly ridiculous.

Regarding the [redacted] Insulation Project;

Our company had the pleasure of completing the insulation project at the [redacted] home. After the project was completed our energy auditor performed a test-out procedure according to the BPI (Building Performance Institute) standards for energy efficiency testing. During our test out procedure our energy auditor had walked through the entire home and inspected the completed work and performed a variety of test's using diagnostic testing equipment to assure the highest standards. During this inspection process the basement shower pan was not found to be cracked. The customer had contacted us for the first time regarding this concern on or around the date of 6/**/2014. At this time the customer was advised to e-mail photos and that we will investigate the concern. The [redacted]'s had then communicated directly with our [redacted] who had been on site during the installation, they had communicated on or around the date of 6/**/2014. He had advised the customer that whoever installed the shower pan had not done so correctly and that this may have been a reason for the concern. You Save Green did not install or service the shower pan. You Save Green had prompt attention to this concern and had provided the customer with direct communication during the construction, post construction and during this matter. Our [redacted] had recommended to the customer the best method for repairing their shower pan. You Save Green does not provide services in the repair or replacement of shower pans. We hope that the [redacted]'s had a pleasant experience working with us and hope that they can resolve their concerns.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

YSG Solar was first class from appointment to completed job. great communication and product. I''m looking forward to the sun generating what we use for the next 25 yrs, thanks!

Review: I contacted ConEdison regarding converting from oil to gas.

They have a list of contractors on their website.

I contacted YouSaveGreen to give us an estimate. This goes back to 2013 in December.

My wife and I looked it over and we agreed to give them the job.

We asked how much and they said 8650.00

Then we noticed we didnt need to make an upgrade to our water heater because it was months old.

So they said ok we will discount the bill.

The bill came out to 7450.00. We agreed on the price and gave them a check for 3250.00 (half the amount).

Weeks pass by and we dont hear anything. Then a month later [redacted] calls and says "Hey I am calling to see how the project went?"

I told him. They didnt even start the job. Nobody is returning calls. Someone came to take measurements and left.

Another person came and took measurements and left.

[redacted] does not return phone calls. Does not return emails. I have called and spoken to [redacted] and he assured me "he is settling in and hes going to call you back"

I have tried reaching out him numerous times and they just told me "We cannot do your project"

I am asking for my money back today and in person.

THE ABSOLUTE REASON. AND I DO MEAN THE ABSOLUTE REASON WHY I AM CONTACTING B.B.B. IS BECAUSE [redacted] AT [redacted], ISNT CONTACTING ME IN PERSON. HES NOT HANDLING IT LIKE A BUSINESS [redacted] WOULD HANDLE IT.

MAYBE YOU CAN HELP AND MAYBE YOU CAN GIVE HIM A FEW TIPS.Desired Settlement: I want to finish my project or my money back with interest.

And I want my money to be returned in person by [redacted] who according to [redacted] is the [redacted] of the company.

Regarding the [redacted] project;

The contract for the heating system was executed on March [redacted] of 2014 by [redacted] and [redacted] (You Save Green's Energy Auditor).

Our Heating technician came to the [redacted] residence on April [redacted] of 2014 to gather the necessary information for the riser diagram and data required for the NYC plumbing permit and National-grid gas conversion procedure.

Our heating technician identified possible venting issues for the direct vent appliances requested by the home[redacted]. The senior technician was notified of this possible issue and was requested for a follow up visit. The senior technician had been on site approximately two weeks after the initial heating technicians visit.

Our senior technician had concluded that a direct vent system can not be installed in his home due to the venting being non-code compliant. You Save Green is a Home Performance with Energy Star contractor and holds a BPI (Building Performance Institute) accreditation. As per our affiliation with these organizations we must comply within a strict set of health & safety guidelines. In addition as per the manufactures installation guide and local code the direct vents must have adequate distance from any windows.

[redacted]'s home can not have a direct vent system installed in his home according to local code. [redacted]'s was notified of this venting issue and his deposit was refunded in full. The customer was not charged for the two site visits from our heating technicians. You Save Green had recommended the customer contact another heating provider for an atmospheric vented heating system.

The customer had been in communication with [redacted] ( You Save Green's Energy Auditor) through out this process.
