Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and extremely unhappy with Young Brothers response Yes, we finally got our refund in INSTALLMENTS, after filing a complaint with Revdex.com, Angie's List, and our credit card company Young Brothers did not refund promptly, and their written response implies they did everything correctly In all seriousness though, Young Brothers would not be writing out checks, and sending people over to fix things, if that was the actual case Perhaps, Young Brothers should start learning to read their own coupons, which had no expiration date, no conditions stating that it had to be submitted before the close of sale, or any stipulation about applying discount to only material not labor (and one cannot help but wonder why Young Brothers gives invoices with totals, without any breakdown labor and materials, if they insist on giving partial credits) Adding to the frustration, Young Brothers could not even calculate the cost of material correctly in their lopsided math when they gave the first installment of our refund check Part of the complaint to Revdex.com, was we paid a higher amount and they calculated a lower amount for the refund So our purchase does not qualify for the coupon when it actually does? How about Young Brothers taking us on a fiasco for another promotion that does not qualify, and then, at the end, tell us we are out of luck because the transaction has closed and they do not want to honor the original coupon and refund us the full amount? Young Brothers is being confronted with the issue of advertising and scam like tactics When did a closed transaction become a reason not to refund an overcharge? Yes, the coupon was submitted AFTER the charge because Young Brothers still needed to honor a VALID coupon Young Brothers had days to respond to our Revdex.com complaint, in which, during that time frame: 1) we received verbal apologies from Nas (the new owner) and Gary (Sales Manager) regarding money owed to us and poor installation from their subcontractor; 2)we were given the remainder of our refund; 3)and repairs/reinstallation were done All would be well- we cashed our refund after weeks of delay and aggravation, and our home was the better for it We would have loved to say the filed complaint was closed to our satisfactionBut for some reason, Young Brothers could not help themselves, they had to write a distasteful response, a denial of wrong doing, using quite a different tone to the apologies expressed over the phone By cashing our refund check and having repairs done is an indication that Young Brothers owed us money and they needed to repair faulty work If their purpose is to make all their customers happy, then they are incapable of doing so in writing Best Regards, [redacted] ***

To Whom It May Concern:Please note Young Brothers has contacted me, and I have received a check of $that was still outstanding from the total amount owed to us because Young Brothers had overcharged us. If the checks go through, no amount is due from Young Brothers. They have also
visited my home to assess the damages and indicated that the repairs will be done next week. This note is an update on events that has occurred since filing my complaint. Please let me know if you need anything clarified. Thank you.Best regards,*** ***

November 3, 2017Re: Complain [redacted] submitted a coupon AFTER her flooring was installed and already paid for. We still aim to assure satisfaction from all of our customers. We are scheduled to repair her flooring November 6th. We already paid (and she already cashed) a reimbursement check allowing her the coupon rate even though her sale was closed.Sincerely,Denise D[redacted]

Revdex.com:   I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and extremely unhappy with Young Brothers response.    Yes, we finally got our refund in INSTALLMENTS, after filing a complaint with Revdex.com, Angie's List, and our credit card company.  Young Brothers did not refund promptly, and  their written response implies they did everything correctly.  In all seriousness though, Young Brothers would not be writing out checks, and sending people over to fix things, if that was the actual case.  Perhaps, Young Brothers should start learning to read their own coupons, which had no expiration date, no conditions stating that it had to be submitted before the close of sale, or any stipulation about applying discount to only material not labor (and one cannot help but wonder why Young Brothers gives invoices with totals, without any breakdown labor and materials, if they insist on giving partial credits).  Adding to the frustration, Young Brothers could not even calculate the cost of material correctly in their lopsided math when they gave the first installment of our refund check.  Part of the complaint to Revdex.com, was we paid a higher amount and they calculated a lower amount for the refund.  So our purchase does not qualify for the coupon when it actually does? Young Brothers is being confronted with the issue of false advertising and scam like tactics.  When did a closed transaction become a reason not to refund an overcharge?
