We agree with Ms [redacted] that there may not have been a power steering leak on her vehicle prior to our workHowever, the work performed on her vehicle did not include assembly or disassembly of any power steering parts and there was no other components that may have been damaged as a result of our work with the transmission linesThe leak she has with power steering is from her rack and pinion sealsThese are internal part of the rack and pinion and can not be damaged by the work performed on her vehicle.We had checked the vehicle and gave her an estimate on replacing the rack and pinionAlthough it is extremely unlikely this unit was damaged due to our work, we are willing to forgo our labor for installation of the unit

We understand Mr [redacted] 's dilemma and would like him to contact [redacted] at [redacted] We look forward to resolving this issue amicably

When Mr [redacted] contacted me several weeks ago his opening statement was "if you do not take care of the blower motor resistor I will bring your business down by going on line and to Revdex.com"He left no room for discussion, as result I was unable to communicate with him in a logical and effective wayI hope we can now address his complaint in a logical and civil mannerIt is true that our technician had problem with installing the blower motorI am sure Mr [redacted] would have done the job himself, since he had already purchased the part, if it was easyAs many jobs that we work on especially on older vehicles sometimes smallest jobs present the biggest challengesThe work was performed by an ASE certified technician, not our managerWhat our manager told Mr [redacted] was based on the information he was provided to by our technicianHaving said this, the price that Mr [redacted] was quoted was the price he paid for with no additional charge and a discount when he presented a gift certificate voucherClearly the time we had in this job is not reflected in what Mr [redacted] paid for the serviceWe are not asking to be compensated, because we understand that is part of our businessAs for the resistor, we do not believe it was damaged as a result of our workResistors, specially on GM vehicles, fail because of high resistance in the blower motor, excessive moisture in the heater box and wear and tearIf the motor Mr [redacted] provided is an after market unit, it needs to be tested for high resistance, for it may be the culprit for the failed resistorAs for the glove box we will repair that and replace it if need beNo questionsPlease call [redacted] at [redacted] and arrange for a timeWe look for ward to working with Mr [redacted] resolve his problems

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below When the bulb was replaced no one told me that there looked like there was a problem with the socket but I do remember the guy telling me he had a hard time installing the bulb In order to install the headlights on my car you almost have to practically remove the front end If they replace the bulb and find that is a faulty bulb or installation, I want them to pay for the court cost I went to court so that I could try to get rid of the entire ticket which was $ The judge lowered the fine to $because I showed her that the work had previously been done but they still charge court fees If my headlight was not out, I would not have received a ticket or incurred any additional cost My driver's license has been held in the court until the fine is paid because I am unable to pay the fees as I am in the process of filing bankruptcy I think that what I am requesting is reasonableAlso, when I contacted someone at the Parma office, they told me to call [redacted] at [redacted] When I called the number they told me to call him at his Euclid location, which is where I started my contact I told the guy that I already talked to him and he said oh well I told him that I was going to contact the Revdex.com and he told me good luck with that which I find to be a little unprofessional and poor customer service Regards, [redacted]

As this customer is stating we are more than glad to warranty the defective bulbHowever, it is possible there is some other reason why the bulb has failed that may not have to do with the bulb or the workmanshipAs I explained to this customer maintenance of the vehicle is with the driver of the

Superlube has warrantied the bulbI certainly sympathize with Mrs*** situation, however Superlube can not be held responsible for lack of compassion and understanding from our law enforcement and judiciary. The reason Mrs*** was referred to another store was she was not happy with my response regarding her requestShe demanded to talk to someone elseMy position was stated clearly but she refused to accept itShe was unwilling to understand that the person she was talking to had the final say. Her insistence that Superlube should be held responsible for her fine is unreasonableQuality control and other factors causing the part to fail after months of use are beyond our controlThe service was performed in good faith and we have stood behind our warrantyWe have fulfilled our pledge

Consumer rebuttal taken by phone-** The consumer does not want to have the company fix the glove box because he said they've already tried to fix it twice and it didn't work and the owner was abusive toward him The consumer wants a third party to fix the glove box and he wants the company to pay for itThe consumer will let the company provide an estimate from a third party of their choice

It was very clear from the damage that it was done while in our possessionThis was no a nick, dent or scratch; the drivers door could not be shut without scrapingA technician did make a comment, but this technician was not the one that had worked on this vehicle, therefore he could not have
possibly known about the damageHe assumed since this vehicle was on the rack for a tire repair, it could not have sustained any damageOnce we examined the vehicle we concurred with Mr*** that we were responsibleBeside the premature comment by a technician no one ever disputed or questioned the source of the damageI immediately contacted a reputable auto body repair facility and made arrangements for the repairsDuring this process I received no fewer that calls regarding the timing of the body repairswhich we had no control over
At no time did we promise Mr*** a rental car, he only demanded a rental car after he had drop his car off for the repairs at the body shopMr*** failed to say in his complaint that we have fully paid for the repairsFurthermore, we brought a customer courtesy car that we use at another location as his rental, but he refused to use itHe complained that this vehicle was dirty, which was not trueOlder yes, dirty no
