I live at *** apartment *** osage beach missouri. Back in September of 2019 *** of young property management supposedly took over as new landlord of our property. We never recieved notification of this except for a text message letter. We wrre told to mail our rent to *** since September I have never recieved a rent receipt. On feburary 23 2020 I mailed 2 months of rent certified to entail she recieved it totalling 1050. The was no one at what she called her office which is actually her home that recieved it. I believe she is posing as a landlord taking peoples rent money please investigate this situation thank you

This letter is in reference to the Revdex.com regarding a complaint *** they received on my company. The complaint was in question to my legitimacy and rents received from my tenant *** in *** in Osage Beach. Since receiving this letter, I believe my tenant understands how I will explain this letter as well. Hopefully the following explanation will clarify things.

I am ***. My husband and I own buildings ***, Osage Beach, MO ***. We purchased these apartments on August 12, 2019. I also own Young Property Management LLC with a DBA of Lake Property Management. I am the realtor and broker for this company, it is just me, I have no employees. The business is run out of my home office at ***. My husband and I formed an LLC of Mariner Cove Apartments LLC when we purchased the property. I manage the property under my management company Young Property Management LLC. This was all explained in my initial letter that was mailed to all tenants on August 16, 2019. I am not sure why my tenant at 1142 did not receive this letter except that now I see on the letter from the Revdex.com that she put a PO Box. I did not have this PO Box when I sent the initial letter in August therefore would explain why she says she was only notified via text, which is incorrect. However, there was another letter posted on all the unit doors on Sept. 16, 2019 regarding changing locks. I know she received that letter as her locks were in fact changed. As for mailing receipts for rent, I explained to her that I manage over 150 units and I do not mail rent receipts each month to every tenant but if she would like to see a report of all rents I have received I would be happy to email her a report per her email request. I never received an email from her requesting this. To date I still have not received her February or March rent. It is my understanding that she sent it via certified mail (I never suggested sending through certified mail). Again, this is my home office and it's just me here, I miss the mail man often. I know he tried to leave a certified mail and I am assuming it was her rent. The postman and I were never able to connect. Since this complaint she and I have arranged for me to pick up her February and March rent on Thursday, March 12, 2020. I understand there may be some confusion for this tenant, but I can't understand why she would have though I was doing something malicious and I have not started any eviction process. All I have done is try to improve the property we purchased, most notable exterior lighting and handrails installed. In order to avoid confusion and delays in rent moving forward I am looking into an online payment method or local drop location for all tenants.
