Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The only thing true about this statement is that I was a returning customerI put my faith in their hands because I thought they were professionalsI thought they were the experts and would educate me on what should or should not be doneAt no point did Youngblood tell me I was in any danger from this repairWhy would they take the job if they felt their customer would be in any danger? Why would they put their name and reputation behind this repair if they felt it was unsafe? After the mess they created, I had no choice but to go to Mercedes for the repairI also have my routine checks done at Mercedes and they did not report these so call damages to my wheelsIt is a shame that Youngblood would result to untrue statementsMy parents did not get involved with this issue until after my wheel came offThis is truly unbelievable to know that a business would result to pure lies Regards, [redacted] ***

It is unfortunate that automotive shops are often targets of unwarranted liability due to problems with a customer's vehicle This particular customer, Ms***, came into our shop to have a set of aftermarket wheels installed Ms [redacted] was a returning customer, so she was aware of the impeccable service that we provide While the vehicle was in the shop, our service writer, tire technician, and mechanic ALL spoke with Mr [redacted] about the critical situation with her hub bearing She was taken into our shop and shown the extreme wear on the bearing, and given a quote to complete the repairs Ms [redacted] had to call her parents for approval, and after that conversation declined to have the hub bearing replaced Before she left, she was again notified of the danger of the hub coming off the vehicle, and of the probable damages that the movement of the bearing could cause to the new wheel and studs Unfortunately, in our years of serving the tire and automotive needs of Austin and surrounding communities, we have occasionally seen customers whose desires to keep their car looking good with aftermarket accessories such as wheels outweigh necessary maintenance needed to keep their vehicle safe and reliable Youngblood Auto & Tire cannot be liable for existing problems with customer's vehicles when they are notified of the problems, and solutions are presented Ms [redacted] was notified of our stance on the situation the morning after the incident, however her parents continued to call for several days which I assume is what she meant by "trying to come up with an agreement" We offered to make the repairs originally quoted, and again Ms [redacted] declined service and towed the vehicle elsewhere Everyone here at Youngblood Auto & Tire has and always will continue to give all of our customers the high level of service they have learned to expect from us, including notification of all necessary maintenance needed to keep their vehicles safe and "road ready"!

Everything in our original statement is true and documented. The salesperson, tire technician, mechanic, and the additional salesperson who took the call from the parent, all agree and were involved in the original statement. This is a year old company that has built a solid reputation of providing impeccable service in an honest manner, as is proven by our continued customer loyalty. This customer was told that the part was in terrible condition, shown the condition of the part, and told the part needed to be replaced immediately. The customer then declined the work. This absolutely, and in no way, creates any liability on this company to pay for said part causing damage to your car. Thank you Revdex.com for your involvement in attempting to resolve this complaint

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:It's obvious I'm dealing with a dishonest company who relies on untrue statements from their employee. If your business felt this was an unsafe repair then why did they do the work and take the risk of placing your company name and reputation at stake. Consumers be warned! Regaurds,[redacted]

It is unfortunate that automotive shops are often targets of unwarranted liability due to problems with a customer's vehicle.  This particular customer, Ms. [redacted], came into our shop to have a set of aftermarket wheels installed.  Ms. [redacted] was a returning customer, so she was aware of the...

impeccable service that we provide.  While the vehicle was in the shop, our service writer, tire technician, and mechanic ALL spoke with Mr. [redacted] about the critical situation with her hub bearing.  She was taken into our shop and shown the extreme wear on the bearing, and given a quote to complete the repairs.  Ms. [redacted] had to call her parents for approval, and after that conversation declined to have the hub bearing replaced.  Before she left, she was again notified of the danger of the hub coming off the vehicle, and of the probable damages that the movement of the bearing could cause to the new wheel and studs.  Unfortunately, in our 44 years of serving the tire and automotive needs of Austin and surrounding communities, we have occasionally seen customers whose desires to keep their car looking good with aftermarket accessories such as wheels outweigh necessary maintenance needed to keep their vehicle safe and reliable.  Youngblood Auto & Tire cannot be liable for existing problems with customer's vehicles when they are notified of the problems, and solutions are presented.  Ms. [redacted] was notified of our stance on the situation the morning after the incident, however her parents continued to call for several days which I assume is what she meant by "trying to come up with an agreement".  We offered to make the repairs originally quoted, and again Ms. [redacted] declined service and towed the vehicle elsewhere.  Everyone here at Youngblood Auto & Tire has and always will continue to give all of our customers the high level of service they have learned to expect from us, including notification of all necessary maintenance needed to keep their vehicles safe and "road ready"!
