Review: I dropped off several shirts in Mid July 2013, as I had weekly for about 3 years. On July 25, 2013 a fire destroyed the business. There was a phone number posted on the boarded up building shortly thereafter, which I called. The phone was answered by Mrs. Young (the owner of the business). She told me that she would reopen soon, and all refunds would be processed after she received her insurance money and reopened. Eventually, all calls to that number were no longer answered. I moved to [redacted], CA in September 2013. I am now told that the building has been renovated/remodeled and that there is a for rent sign in the building. There does not appear to be any plans for this business to reopen, and there is no longer answers to the contact number. I am trying to obtain compensation for the lost items in the fire at this business. The total value of the items lost in the fire are $425.00; however, I would imagine that I could replace them for a cost of about $350.00.Desired Settlement: The total value of the items is $475.00. This is the original price that I paid for them. This includes 9 shirts, long sleeve, and button down. I would be able to replace these for $410.00. These shirts that were dropped off were all in excellent condition. 6 of them were never worn amd brand new and 3 of them were used infrequently and only 3 months old.
