We have attached copies of the inspection report which was filled out and submitted to the Valencia County Environment Dept as well as sent to the real estate agent and customer on 6/13/2016. The customers claim that we performed the inspection over the phone is absolutely untrue not only that but it is impossible. There are very strict guidelines that must be followed in order to submit a formal inspection to the county and this includes physically inspecting the tank and the property and submitting a detailed drawing of the tank location on the property itself. The tank cannot be inspected without being pumped. Obviously the inspector would have to be present to do this. These are all standard procedures that American Pumping Service is officially certified to perform and we do several of these inspections on a weekly basis. The only charge that was questioned during this process was the $160 for the tightness test. The tank had physical evidence of a crack and it is not unusual for a request to have this test done to verify that the tank is losing water especially when a house is empty because water level can decrease for other reasons and tank replacement is costly. However when the homeowner’s nephew contacted our office manager to question the charge, we could not find in our notes who exactly approved the tightness test so we removed that charge back in June and agreed to only charge the $200 inspection fee and the $160 pumping fee. Our driver met with the homeowner’s nephew the first time we were out at the property when the tank was filled with water for the tightness test. There was no one home the next day when our inspector pumped and inspected the tank but we have the report with several details about the property and system that we would not have unless he was there to physically inspect the tank. We have no recollection of calls from the complainant to anyone in our office. Again everything was completed and billed as requested by the realtor who hired our company. This can all be verified with physical evidence. We have been in business for over 20 years and this is because we are an honest company with an excellent reputation and several repeat customers, especially within the real-estate industry. We find this claim absolutely ridiculous and definitely false.
